The Candied Rib Company is a Locally Owned Take-Out restaurant located in the heart of Mount Juliet, TN. Craig and Lisa Dudinetz started The Candied Rib Company in 2017 catering and delivering boxed lunches around Mount Juliet. We have evolved from Great Barbecue With a Twist, to Anything BUT Traditional meals, Healthy Foods & Nitrate Free Smoked Meats with Gluten-Free options. Our kitchen is completely FREE from Seed Oils, High Fructose Corn Syrup, GMO’s & MSG! We render our own Tallow and use it as our main grill oil in addition to Imported Grass Fed Butter and Olive Oil, depending on the item cooked. We render our own Lard, make Mayo in house out of Avocado oil. All sauces & rubs are Original Recipes, made in house.

Great small business to support! Their unique spin on BBQ is a must try. This location has a few small tables for dining in, but most customers were carryout. We ordered:
1. The standard burger – this smash style burger was . The patties were flavored and prepared well! The added special sauce levels it up. (10/5 )
2. Candied Ribs – these were seasoned well, and the preparation was . The meat was tender and easy to eat for ribs. (10/5 )
3. Macaroni and cheese – the cheese crisp on the outside added great texture, and the flavors were delicious. (7/5 )
Try each of the homemade BBQ sauces. You won’t be disappointed. We will be frequent customers as this restaurant is exceptional.

The service here is unmatched they are very kind people that go the extra mile. But most importantly the food is outstanding. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the potatoes were seasoned to perfection. I wish I would have tried them earlier if you’re questioning it, do give it a shot it’s definitely worth it.

Great food! The Cole Slaw is different than any other I’ve had in a very good way. Loved the sweet potato with it homemade bacon and maple butter. The steak and chicken skewers were tender and juicy. I will be back to try the ribs.

My wife and our youngest went yesterday, and I’ve officially found my new go-to spot for ribs. Absolutely amazing food and sauces. My wife ordered the burger, I got the smoked mac and cheese as a side, and every single bite was excellent. We all loved it. I honestly can’t see how this place wouldn’t earn 5 stars every single time.

A wonderful, started at home restaurant. We have been fans since their food truck days. it’s so nice to see they’ve made it enough to have a store front! Great husband & wife team with perfectly cooked BBQ meats, sides & sauces! Tallow potatoes are worth the wait!! We will always return when we’re in the area!! Ollipop & poppy drinks available – there are no Pepsi or coke products!!

OMG!!! Everything was delicious!! We tried 1/2 the menu! Ribs with candied sauce, shrimp and chicken. For sides we had the vegetables, tallow grilled potatoes, yella slaw and cheddar crusted Mac and cheese. They grill with house rendered tallow! The owners are the employees. Great place with natural ingredients. Seating is limited.

Candied Rib was on point and did not disappoint. The special for today was fantastic and delicious as always. Lisa was rocking the front taking care of guests, answering phones, getting to go orders ready and smiling as she always does. Dave and new guy in the back was cranking out orders and they were packed today. Thanks to MJ showing up today for a week that was full of challenges. Keep doing great things and serving magnificent food. Also thanks for surprising me with the sides of sauce they were delicious.
