Awesome spot, enjoyed the outdoor theme! They have events like trivia and karaoke scheduled pretty much everyday. Had a great experience, will definitely be returning! Great selection of draft beer! Food was perfect!

Loved the theme of this place. Could decorate the outside a bit and make it a little more appealing, but it’s a cool outdoorsy vibe inside. The bartender was super cool and friendly. We got a burger and wrap and it was alright, nothing to rave about. I did have a hair on my plate when it was served to me, so that’s never my favorite thing… I would however, go back to try their s’mores and do some karaoke or trivia

Exactly the vibe I was looking for. Owner was super kind. They have karaoke, and games to play. I enjoyed some s’mores, and a drink. The s’mores was a fun little activity for the table. I Will come back!

Our good friend Dean is one of the owners and did a fabulous job coordinating my husband’s birthday! The staff the evening of were exceptional and helped make it all flow accordingly. They helped with the set up and making sure that all went according to plan! Special shout out to those who cleaned up after I accidentally broke a few glasses! We love this place and will of course be back!!!

I love this place! I came in to meet a friend and the bartender Jeffrey came right over to take my drink order. My margarita was delicious and felt very high end. I ordered a wrap as a salad and it came quickly and was delicious. I couldn’t be happier with my night at the Camp Bar.

I would have really loved to give this place a glowing review, but unfortunately I can’t after my experience. It was my very first time checking this place out and I loved the interior. Very warm and cozy. The 2 drinks I had were amazing, but one staff member ruined my entire time and I ended up leaving earlier than intended. I got up to look for the restroom not knowing where it was and walked towards the corner of the bar where I I thought it was but saw a kitchen, I then turned around and saw the restroom. As I walked into the restroom I was followed by a staff member acussing me of going behind the bar when I did not. I tried explaining that I was just looking for the restroom and she continued to argue with me and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I shut the door in her face because she would not stop arguing with me. After I used the restroom, I complained to the bartender and apparently the staff member wanted to kick me out. As im complaining, this rude staff came over and STILL wanted to argue. Did not apologize at all. I then just decided to leave along with my friends because I’m not giving my hard earned money to an establishment that treats their customers this way. I will never be back. It’s really unfortunate because the bar tender was sweet and amazing and so were the other staff. Just one bad apple of the group.

We went to the Camp Bar on a whim and instantly fell in love! Relaxing, fun atmosphere. The woodsy decor created the scene. The food was soooooooo amazing. The tots were dreamy, burger was top notch. Cocktails were on point, wow! Waiter was attentive and charming. The crowd welcomed us, we even played bingo, what a hoot!

used to really love coming here as its always been a space my friends and i have felt safe as visibly queer people. the food is great, the drinks are strong, all of the service workers were lovely people, and overall the vibes were wonderful. i used to always bring new people to this bar as its a perfectly chill little introduction to tacoma.
however, they recently (not sure when) hired a new bar manager and she has been extremely unkind the last three or so times ive gone. ive heard her saying some pretty nasty things about people of color and about immigrants. it has quickly turned into a really unwelcoming environment, which is extremely disappointing because i know that that’s not what the owner stands for and intends for his business to represent. however, the complacency in continuing to let her work there is saddening to me. you can’t preach maintaining a welcoming space and environment for marginalized communities when you are keeping someone so aggressively unkind and morally unjust on staff. i cant continue to support the bar as long as she is working there.
