As first time customers from Indiana, we were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was so inviting, but the service we received was top-notch! Our professional server, Daniel was amazing! He was well versed and knowledgeable about all the food items! We will definitely be back!

They blew it out of the park with gluten free options! I got a fried chicken biscuit with sausage gravy and potatoes… ALL gluten free and pure deliciousness. I was sad I couldn’t try their Bloody Mary, but it looked amazing as they are dressed with bacon and shrimp.
Our server was Daniel, and I can confidently say our first experience here would not have been the same without him. Attentive, funny, and every answer was “yes we can!”
Happy to have this breakfast spot in town.

Valentine’s Day Brunch was wonderful. Excellent food (shrimp Bennie), drinks (espresso old fashioned), and service (Megan – looked after our every need despite the massive crowd). The restaurant was full, with a 2 hour wait. But despite the volume of business, the flow was smooth, service quick, and the food was perfect. The general manager was even working the front – it looked like the staff was working in local-step to make this day special for all their guests. I’ve give them 10 stars if I could!

Grabbed a late breakfast after an appt and had a great experience. My server (Daniel I believe) was a DELIGHT. He was so great, 25/10, 25 stars. Food was good- want to come back and try waffles and pancakes next! The coffee was fantastic, but you can’t miss with Onyx.

This was my first visit to The Buttered Biscuit and it did not disappoint! The service was friendly and fast, the food was excellent and location was great!
I ordered breakfast and it all came out nice and hot! The coffee was very good also. There inside and outside dining. It was slightly chilly inside, so a jacket would have been nice. My husband however said the temperature was perfect! It was an all around nice experience.

Run don’t walk to this wonderful country/biscuit shop in the city! Yes, we checked out this super delicious restaurant serving breakfast and brunch items in the Heights on Kavanaugh.
Di and Daughter had a Biscuit Basket with three biscuits and three different jellies/jams. We were thinking ‘only three’ but, upon receiving the order, we could see how BIG they were! The choice of lemon curd, raspberry, and strawberry jellies/jams sent these biggies over the top.
Daughter had two eggs, hash browns, another biscuit, and sausage gravy. All perfectly cooked to order! I had one egg over medium and 1 pancake. The pancake was ok but not freshly cooked. I forgave this slight injustice because who orders a pancake at a biscuit joint?!?!? My egg was perfectly cooked. We both had a Triune Latte that puts ‘you know who’ to shame.
Absolutely divine experience and I’m aching to return.

Daniel was an amazing server! I would come back just to be in his section! I had the Lovely Lavender happy drink, the cinnamon roll and the Deep South biscuit and EVERYTHING was a 1000/10

Could not find a parking spot and almost gave up but finally found one. I’m glad we hung in there because the breakfast was really delicious! Staff were great and attentive. There was no long wait for our food. Very nice first time there.

The food is fantastic!! The restaurant itself is beautiful, very inviting, clean. The servers are super friendly. However we waited for over 5 minutes while they were trying to figure out who our server was and we could hear them talking about how she was in the bathroom. We ordered 3 lattes. The first 2 came out together in good time however we were nearly done with those by the time the 3rd one came out. I ordered the Lila Lemon Cakes, my husband had the French toast biscuit, my son had the Cajun Shrimp Scramble. We got our orders and 2 of us were half way done eating before the waitress noticed no one brought out my lemon custard, my son’s brown sugar butter and my husband’s syrup (he thought the meal was super dry without it unfortunately. His was also the latte they didn’t ring out til late and his order also came out after everyone else’s do his overall experience was not good!) We asked for to go boxes and the ticket,we got the boxes but the ticket came much later. When she did come with the bill, it was given to us on a hand held device that she held and hoovered over us while my husband paid. Everyone else had been given a ticket to bring to the front so we thought that was odd. That was for sure the lowest tip we had ever given anyone ever. I felt really bad because she was really nice but the service was awful.
