Looking for a late night meal in a small town on a Saturday night can often be a challenge. The Butchers Pub more than satisfied. A grilled chicken BLT with onion rings and butchers burger with fries were just the right way to end our six-hour drive.
We sampled some local brews, had a good time with the staff, and left very happy. We’d certainly do it again! Next time I want to try the “Build Your Own Nachos” using tater tots. That has some serious potential.

Don’t miss this on your diners and dives tour of the USA. Eddie and Clara are absolutely the best bartenders I’ve ever had. The friendly atmosphere is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I came for a drink but stayed for the friends for life. Gotta try the pretzel!

Don’t underestimate this quaint pub in this sweet small town. We were traveling through and stopped in for lunch. Variety of interesting beers and what appeared to be a full bar. We ordered fish & chips and a side salad for some vegetables and wow! I never expect much of a side salad in a pub, but it was nicely packed with veggies and the presentation was a pleasant surprise served in a small iron skillet. It was delicious and the dressing tasted homemade. The fish was flaky and wonderful and was served with unique “chips” (curly fried potatoes). We were very happy with our restaurant choice and would love to try some other menu items. Nice job, Butcher’s Pub!

Ate lunch here and everything was amazing!! Great selection of draft beer, and a nice variety of food on the menu. Our server was attentive and food was delicious It’s a really cool atmosphere, we felt like we were actually in an old English pub dining. They have booths that are really cool and fun. Definitely a neat experience worth checking out with great food and beer.

First time to visit this place. Cold beer and hot sandwiches!!! Follow up visit on 2/26/2022. Had lunch with my 2 sons that live in Williamsburg. I ordered Reuben egg rolls appetizer for a lunch meal. Very tasty!! Went well with my 2 Corona’s . Our server did excellent job checking in and offering refills. I really like the uniqueness and atmosphere here. Here’s another Follow up visit. On May 14, 2022, my wife and I decided to come here for lunch. Devin was our server and it was a pleasure talking to him. He was very friendly and professional. Our meals were totally awesome, hot and fresh!!!! It looked like the menu had changed a little, but had a nice variety.

Food pretty good if you are able to get in. I have tried 4 times now. Doors locked despite hours posted should be open. Staff was friendly the one time i got to eat there. Been wanting to go back. I give up. Go on down the street and pick another place. Dont know what their problem is.

This is a really cool place to visit for good food and good drinks at fair prices.
The place has a great look and feel to it, there’s some cool history here and the food and drinks are a hit.
There’s indoor and outdoor seating, live music, etc. If you’re in the area, it should be on your list of places to go. We’ll be back, for sure.

The food was AMAZING!! I loved the burger so much! The pub nachos were a hit as well! And you have to have the pretzel with the beer cheese!!! Eddie, Clair and Larry were literally the best people you could meet there!! The hospitality and the vibes they bring were so fun!

I usually don’t write reviews, but our experiences was so bad I had to. We decided to try The Butcher Pub because of the ratings, boy we were disappointed.
We ordered online only to find out they canceled my whole order when I arrived to pick it up. We didn’t get a notification and my card was charged.
The food that is actually available is a fraction of what is listed online. So good luck finding anything.
When we finally got our food, they didn’t give us any utensils, dressing, or sides which the food said it came with.
The service was terrible. No one apologized for anything, or even asked if i wanted a drink, it is a bar by the way. Instead they were all too busy complaining how there was nothing to do at work with friends or coworkers that came in and helped themselves to free booze behind the bar.
Way to go Butcher Pub you Butchered it!
