Wanted take out but never made it that far. Went in at 750 sign says they close at 8. Then I guess you better be prepared to serve customers til 8. I was met by a young man with a dirty look who was up front then walks to the back and whispered something to some woman at this point I went out the door. Then some woman comes up front and is standing in the window staring at me. Won’t come here again. Have eaten here before and the food isn’t good enough to put up with this kind of service

We’ve dined here before, the food is usually pretty good but nothing to write home about. Tonight was disappointing. The woman who works the register is extremely rude and seems to be very unhappy working here. If there were more choices in the area to eat we would dine elsewhere just because of her unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude. I ordered the 1/4 pound cheeseburger. My first bite I bit into a hard piece of onion skin. I continued to eat the rest of the burger and continued biting into onion skin. The patty was extremely thin and I had more bun than meat. Not very appetizing and quite disappointing considering the price. I’m in no rush to come back.

We eat ( ate ) at Burger Garage once or twice a week. Always spending around $50.00.Our food has always been hot and fresh until today. My brother and I wanted to take our Sister out for a late lunch. We told my her how great the food was especially the onion rings.
WOW what an embarrassment and disappointment it was today. Everything in our order was cold. The onion rings we had bragged about was COLD and almost burned. Everything about our order was awful. The only thing decent was the fountain soda we ordered. I can understand if they were busy but they were not. There was two tables that had people sitting at them. We got our order to go and went three blocks to eat. So there is no way the food got cold in that short amount of time. Less than 2 minutes from the time we picked it up to when we sat down to eat and it was disgusting. An order of onion rings was missing instead we were given cold disgusting fries. I called them the lady I spoke with was short with me and said to me I wonder what happened to the missing order of onion rings? I’m not sure who ended up with our food but at this point I don’t even care. She did offer to replace the Fry’s with the missing order of onion rings but I let her know we were already sitting down to eat.
Not that they will miss our business but it will be a long time before we go back. We spend about $200.00 a month there but not anymore. I hope they are made aware of this review and they take a little more time in preparing their food.

So glad this place moved to Newton! I almost always stop by when I need a bite to eat in town. The burgers come out consistent and fresh. The fries are a nice thick cut but still get cooked all the way through.
The shakes and ice cream options have been a cozy addition on occasion but I often don’t think too much of it. Good but also fairly standard for burger joint shakes.
Whenever there’s been a mistake they’re always very fast to get a replacement burger out.
Unfortunately their onion rings are not as good as they used to be. They feel less fresh and more awkwardly cooked in the last couple months. They used to be so good.
It’s incredibly affordable! Especially compared to other places and chains. It’s half the reason I’m always excited to go back.
The vibe is super cozy with all the car and car shop themed decor and even the trays they serve the food in match!
