So its busy majority of the time we have chosen to eat there. They are short staffed, like every other business. So it can be slow to get served. Staff are pleasant. We have had a table once, otherwise, we either change our plans and take out or sit at the bar and eat. We usually eat there after we play golf. Bloody Mary’s are good and I’m pretty picky about my Bloodys. Both my husband and I like the Fish fry equivalent to Juice’s Ghost town, which is delicious. We have also had the prime rib which tasted decent. Recently had the pan fried walleye and my husband had the mac and cheese with meatballs and both were great. We have only had their homemade desserts once and they were good too, I believe it was chocolate mousse cheesecake…whatever it was it was chocolate and yummy.

My husband and I are new to the area and I happened to find this fish fry. My husband got the walleye and I got the perch; both were excellent. I requested extra tartar but didn’t need it because the fish was delicious on its own. The bar was pretty full but I was able to grab a table in their waiting area to enjoy a drink while I waited for my food.
Everyone was so friendly- the bartender, man who took our order, and another woman who I think may have been the owner(?). The next day we took the dogs for a hike and called to see if they would let us have a drink outside to enjoy the tropical 40 degree February day. Again, staff was welcoming and the patrons at the bar were friendly. We are excited to have such a great local spot!

The Bunkers Restaurant is easily one of my favorite spots in the area! The service is outstanding, the staff is so so kind. And the food is excellent!! Absolutely recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We were blasted by the AC vent which was extremely powerful, think Marilyn Monroe standing over the grate. Bread basket wasn’t fresh and included a previously used whipped butter container. Steak was over done both dishes were extremely bland.

It’s a cute little course that is really fun to play but the restaurant is terrible. Came here today and had to finally go get my own menu after being ignored at the bar for 10 minutes. When my food finally arrived the bartender set it down behind the bar and went and filled drink orders. I finally walked over and got it myself. After finishing up he stopped over and asked if there was anything else I needed. I could have used something to drink about 30 minutes ago… And the food was sub par. I had the steak tenderloin sandwich and the grey meat looked like it had been steamed. I don’t think I’ve ever stiffed someone on the tip in my entire life but there was no way I could justify giving them another penny.

It was AWESOME. the place has a nice bar up front with a ton of locals, but a pretty classy restaurant in the back. Much bigger than I expected, great atmosphere.
The food was great, I just got a burger and fries, and a cup o’ chili. I was intrigued by their Friday fish fry and their Saturday prime rib, I will definitely go back!

This is a family owned business that works hard to provide hospitality with a smile and family friendliness. When you come here, you feel like you’re walking into a big reunion where everyone is happy to see you again. The food is plentiful, the drinks are reasonable, the music is low key, the laughter is raucous, the entertainment is variable. Whether you golf or just show up for dinner, you’ll have a good time and get treated well.

Figured I would give it one last chance. Had reservations twice before and never got seated, third time was the charm. Had king prime rib on a Saturday, portion was smaller than expected. At this point not sure if I will return.

The food is fine, but not the best around. The service was really slow, only one server for the whole place. What really downgraded the score was lack of attention. I stated I have food allergies to gluten AND corn, and requested grilled shrimp rather than breaded/fried. That was no problem, but I don’t even think the kitchen was aware of the allergy. If they were, they don’t know their ingredients, because by the time we left I had begun to itch and by 6 hours later I had a full blown migraine (these are my reactions). Clearly they use a cheap vegetable oil on their grill, and potentially their fryer too. I won’t go back.
