We stopped here for lunch traveling from Tennessee to Indiana. The service and atmosphere were good. The bathroom needs some work. My food was not bad, but it wasn’t anything great. It was good but not something I would recommend as a must have. That said, it’s a nice place and if I was in this town again, I would stop in again.

I had the hangover burger with sweet potato fries and my mother had the beef skewers. The food was very nice and came out quick even though the restaurant was full. Our waiter was very nice and attentive the entire time never having to ask for a refill. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience despite the restaurant being very crowded for the market. We will definitely be back here im not sure how this is the first time I’ve heard of it!

This place was phenomenal. We stopped here for lunch and I got the spicy Thai burger and my girlfriend got the Cuban sandwich both on pretzel buns and they were amazing. Also our server Nadia was very good and super sweet.

We went the other night for dinner because we’ve been wanting to try this place. It was pretty good. The pasta was nothing special but the chicken was grilled to perfection.
My boyfriend got the burger and said it was okay, sweet potato fries were decent.
We also got the caramel apple dessert. It was supposed to come with ice cream – it didn’t, & also it doesn’t actually have caramel on it. It’s some “bourbon sauce” that i believe actually was supposed to be on their bread pudding even though that’s not what we ordered.
I would not get the dessert again. Even if it had had the ice cream, it wasn’t very good.
Our waitress was very nice. She didn’t charge us for the dessert since it didn’t have the ice cream.

Great hospitality and family friendly meal spot. We rolled through the beautiful town of Midway. We sat at the patio out back with our family and dog. They even brought our dog a water before we could even get yer bowl out. Good meal and fair price. Atmosphere was perfect. Good small town spot. Service was extremely friendly. Our waiter was fun and hilarious. Thank you for a great stop. We would love to visit again.

Our group of 9 stopped in here for lunch on a Friday in April, 2025. It was at peak lunch hours, but they seated us pretty quickly in a large room at the front of the restaurant.
Our server was nice and helpful and attentive and we enjoyed our meals. The portion sizes were large, so be ready for leftovers or be prepared to share an entree.
They do have bottles of bourbon available for sale but at some high prices. But hey – more power to them if they get folks looking to buy them.
All in all, we enjoyed our lunch here and would stop in again. Give the fish and chips a try – they were legit!

The Champ
This town is lovely – an interesting piece of history. I’m so glad we made this detour for lunch. I had my first “Hot Brown”. This was a good choice on a rainy day during our roadtrip. A bourbon tour is absolutely in our future plans !

A nice chill place with top notch service from Emily. The Sweet Potato Soup and the Calamari were excellent. However the steak I ordered was Medium Well instead of Medium Rare and it was a bit chewy but it still had great flavor so steak sauce wasn’t needed. The vegetables and the loaded potato cake that went with the steak were also excellent

Great food but NOT friendly for folks with mobility limitations. The handicapped parking is across the lot from the restaurant and the ramp is on the opposite side of the deck to the entrance.

The atmosphere is pretty neat and the waitress was super sweet. The food was just okay for us. We didn’t care for the croutons on the salad, they were very sweet, kinda burnt and grease logged. I ordered the chicken and ravioli and the chicken was actually pretty good minus a big flap of fat that grossed me out. There were only 4 raviolis but they were good. The sauce however was not the best. It was just so much cheese just melted all over everything and everything was just swimming in oil. It was overkill considering the ravioli already had cheese in them. I would not order it again. My child did enjoy the chicken tenders. The toilet was very low to the ground and funny but it’s an old place so they are doing the best with what they’ve got.
