A great hidden gem just over the border with a nice outdoor space and stage for events. Delicious food, went there for the first time tonight and we will definitely be returning. Waiter was funny and friendly, overall the staff was very helpful. Not terribly busy and they do have trivia on Thursday nights, would’ve stuck around for it if we didn’t have to leave by a certain time. They were out of a few things we wanted to try due to a late shipment, which is completely understandable, but our server told us as soon as we sat down which was very helpful to know in advance. Can’t wait to come back and try more great food!

Came for dinner and stayed for the live music! Laura and Kenny the bartenders were absolutely great! The chill atmosphere and the live music made for the perfect end of the week date night atmosphere. We will absolutely be back!!

We went to the Broken Spoke for the Wednesday fish special as we have in the past. It has always been good up until this visit. The restaurant was empty and after being in the room for about a minute, one of the owners came over to us and said to sit anywhere. He then said that he had no staff or bartender that day, only the cook. We decided that was OK since we only wanted the fish and soft drinks. I ordered a mixed drink, which the owner made, and my husband ordered iced tea. The owner said he did not have iced tea so my husband ordered a diet coke instead. When we ordered our food the owner told us there was no fish because “the truck did not make a delivery that day”. We ordered other things from the menu after finding several of the items on the menu were also out. I ordered the pot roast sandwich with onion petals and my husband ordered the sliders with a bowl of chili. The pot roast was dry and the plate came out with fries instead of onion petals. My husband got two hamburger buns (supposed to be 3 sliders) with dry roast pork (no onions or sauce as the menu said) and a Styrofoam cup of chili instead of a bowl. Overall, very disappointing.

Since they have opened, we have loved this place! The food has always been super tasty….especially the cheese curds. Today, after we were seated, we were told that they were “out of a few things”. We ordered our drinks – they were out of whiskey. Then, we ordered the cheese curds to be told they had just ran out (okay – we get it). Then, the drinks came and we ordered our food to be told they were out of French fries, onion rings, and their potato petals (amazing) were out for the sides. We got some applesauce and coleslaw. Then, the bill came and there was nothing comped for being out of almost all sides that could be ordered. We were extremely disappointed after this dinner tonight, especially on a holiday weekend.

We waited several minutes to be seated even though it wasn’t very crowded…table we were seated at was dirty. Server did clean the table after our request. They ran out of fish, which was explained later by our new server “Laura”!!! ( Who by the way made up for the “bad” experience…food was good as usual, just the service was a little disappointing… But we understand how understaffed restaurants are experiencing…we will certainly be back, just hope Laura waits on us next time, she was a rock star tonight and couldn’t apologize more for the original server we had. All good we still love the Broken Spoke. Band was very good as well!!:)

The food was incredible. The cheese curds were awesome and undoubtedly some of the best I have had. The pork sandwich with candied apples, was unique and very tasty.

Had the smoked prime rib again, great as usual. I love thier jerk dry rub wings so I get those as an appetizer and eat to much. Weather permiting outside area is great.

absolutely loved my experience here. me and my mom ordered a burger, tomato soup, and pork nachos. everything tasted great. our waitress was super nice and complimented my shoes. she was bubbly and a fun server to have. definitely recommend to come here!!
