I had a wonderful experience at TBH
Julie was my server and she was attentive and sweet.
I came for my anniversary date with my 4 month old baby and she was understanding and welcoming.
The food and wine were both great!

he Brock House is hard to miss — a large, welcoming restaurant with plenty of good parking. The menu offers an excellent variety of food, and they even have prime rib specials every day, which is a great bonus.
The cocktail menu was impressive, and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the fish and chips served with creamy coleslaw and a homemade tartar sauce, and it was excellent. We also tried the chicken parm, which came with pesto, black olives, and spaghetti — very well prepared and full of flavor.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Definitely worth a visit — we’ll be back

Went here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. For the price that we both paid, we were able to have a delicious meal. The meatballs were cooked to perfection and everything tasted delicious. My only suggestion is that the restaurant should really consider adding more lights to the place. It looks quite dim.

Large portion sizes too!The server Mike was very friendly ,professional and absolutely awesome.After a bad experience on the road with a terrible driver that left up upset. Table of 3 adults, 1 child. Server Jason was super accommodating, promptly bringing colouring materials over and spill-safe drink-ware for the little one soon after we were seated. Kid menu options were tailored to potentially fussy diminutive diners. Spaghetti meatballs in tomato-less cheese sauce went down very well. Adult meals as pictured. The fish and chips were noteworthy: potatoes cooked well (not under nor over-fried; appeared hand-cut; not over-salted), crispy exterior, fluffy interior. Fish filet portion was generous for a dinner serving: thick, moist, fresh-tasting interior without a trace of “fishiness”beneath an impossibly crisp atypical potato-chip-crumb coating that was not in the least bit oily. A pleasure (and relief) to consume, alongside a highly palatable unfiltered hoppy/ tropical-fruit-forward local IPA (Town Brewery, Whitby).
Was offered condiments for the fish dish once presented at table (malt/ white vinegar, in addition to ketchup and tartar already provided) to save the customer from asking.
Would actually rate every category a half star higher:
Overall 4.5 (our table seating hadn’t been bussed very well upon arrival, a little DIY involved, so that served to detract from a 5.0 experience)
Atmosphere 3.5 (which isn’t bad for a Family Restaurant populated by children at 5:30 pm)
Food 4.5 – fellow diner expressed some disappointment with his short-rib choice (too stew-like; portion size could have been more substantial); in all fairness, our server did recommend to him the prime rib instead so …

Service a bit slow (and acceptable) except at the time of brining you the bill… that was like a flash.
I tried their rosemary brocktail (alcohol free cocktail), it was interesting. Unique and fresh flavor. Not sure I will order again but it was good and worth to try.
I loved their truffle fries! First time having ‘fancy’ fries like that and it was good. If you don’t eat them fast enough all the truffle oil felt at the bottom so it wasn’t that nice but the flavor overall was good. Their food is good.
Will definitely come back and try other of their specialities!

We had an incredible brunch at the Brock House! Food was absolutely delicious with so many options to choose from pasta, brisket sandwiches, made-to-order omelets, and a tempting dessert spread. It really felt like such a treat. We came with a large group, and the service was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience seamless. A perfect spot for a gathering, and I’d definitely come back again!

The Brock house exceeded all our expectations and more! The service was fantastic, the kindest, loveliest waitresses. The drinks were delicious, and the food…outstanding! I got the boneless beef short rib dinner and my husband had the brisket rigatoni, and I ended it with their flourless chocolate torte. Everything was very delicious and perfectly cooked. So delicious I could have licked the plate clean! We didn’t have to wait long at all for the food either, it came quickly! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely dinner Brock House!
