Excellent service, great Fish and Chips. Mushy pea’s are $2 extra. Cabbage and corn beef was a super large portion. Great atmosphere!

I’ve been here before and enjoyed what I got [fish and chips] this time around my parents and I, all ordered the fish and chips and…. it wasn’t what we expected it to be my father simply shrugged his shoulders my mom didn’t care for he’s either.
Not sure it this was a three-way one off but, I don’t think I’ll be trying the fish and chips again.
My sister had the bangers and mash, and she also said that would be her last time for that dish.
We enjoyed the appetizers [fried mushrooms & onion rings] a lot better.

The food is good but they have bumped up the prices and reduced the portions. For two meals, two 20oz beers, and one coke was $65. One of which was a burger smaller than a chic fil a sandwich. The flavor of the burger was good and so were the fries but they are pricing me out. Add the tip, hospitality tax, and a fee for using a CHECK CARD I’m out.

The British Bulldog is a true gem! The fish sandwich was packed with flavor, and the house-made tartar sauce is honestly the best I’ve ever had. The onion rings were perfection crispy, golden, and full of flavor. We also tried the Scotch eggs, and they were outstanding, with just the right balance of seasoning and texture. On top of all that, our waitress Shelby went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Her excellent service made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were staying at a nearby hotel and the British Bulldog was recommend. We are so glad we decided to eat here.Great atmosphere, great food. All sauces made in house and you can tell. Jennifer was the best server, pleasant and super knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered. Highly recommend and will be back every time we pass through.

This was our first time visiting The British Bulldog for dinner, and overall it was a great experience. We came in on a moderately busy evening and were seated in a cozy booth near the kitchen.
I started with an Old Fashioned, which was incredibly smooth with a nice citrusy note—definitely could taste the orange, and it was very well balanced. For an appetizer, we had the fried mushrooms with Cajun ranch—crispy and flavorful with just the right kick.
My boyfriend ordered the 14 oz prime rib with a baked potato and house salad. He inhaled his dinner, so that speaks for itself. I went with the chicken curry (level 1 spice), and while it smelled amazing and tasted great from the few bites I had, I unfortunately wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t finish. Nothing to do with the food—I just wasn’t at my best. The server was incredibly kind and understanding, even asking if I wanted to order something else or adjust the bill.
I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m feeling better—would love to give the curry another go and explore more of the menu. Great drinks, friendly service, and solid food. A charming spot for a laid-back meal.

We went for lunch. Not busy and the burgers were ok. The service was not good. We ordered onion rings waited forever for our food. The onion rings we had to ask about because they were not put in to the kitchen I assume. So we ate our burgers and took home cold onion rings. We asked for a refill on water and the server takes our cups with our straws and goes to fill them up going toward the kitchen. Just bring another glass of water! Taking a cup off of the table back to the kitchen to refill is totally unacceptable! Maybe invest in a pitcher to pour at the table? The other server was talking so loud about how she use to take smoke breaks and be gone for some time. That she had been a server there for two years. Felt rushed as the our server kept trying to take our plates. Hmm we do not even have our appetizer (onion rings) We will not waste our money or time again at this restaurant. The only reason we left 10% tip is because I have worked the service industry. Total Flop

Love the atmosphere and use to love coming here but it takes way too long for food. It was not very busy, plenty of empty tables. Burger came out hot and overcooked but everything else ordered was cold and soggy. Watching the kitchen was disappointing, I use to run two separate kitchens, one being an Irish pub in a tourist area. Customers don’t want to see the cooks constantly touching their hair and faces then the food they are preparing. Timing is everything, all the food should be delivered to the table hot, especially at a $60 meal for 2 in a pub. The kitchen needs to be educated on how to prepare the food in a sanitary way as well as how to time the preparation. This affects the tip for the waitresses or bartender as well. We were never asked how everything was, would we like a box, can we get you dessert. I really like the atmosphere but this being the second time this happened, I don’t believe we will be back.

British Bulldog: Where Pints, Pies, and Premier League Magic Collide
If you’re looking for a place where the beautiful game meets a beautiful pint, the British Bulldog is your spot. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warm hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the glow of TVs showing every imaginable soccer match — from the English Premier League to obscure qualifiers you didn’t know existed.
Let’s talk about the star player of the night — Taylor, the bartender. Taylor is as attentive as a top-flight midfielder, reading the room like Kevin De Bruyne reads a defense. Glass empty? Before you can say, “VAR check,” it’s magically refilled. Need a recommendation? Taylor knows the taps like Sir Alex knew his tactics — and trust me, that’s saying something.
The menu? Comforting British classics with a side of charm. The fish and chips are so crispy you’d think Gordon Ramsay personally shouted at the fryer. The shepherd’s pie? A hearty masterpiece that deserves its own highlight reel. And if you’re feeling adventurous, grab a Scotch egg — it’s basically protein and carbs in perfect harmony, just like Beckham bending it in his prime.
Now, the atmosphere — oh, the atmosphere. Whether you’re a die-hard Liverpool supporter chanting “You’ll Never Walk Alone” or just there to enjoy a casual pint while pretending to know who scored in stoppage time, the Bulldog delivers. It’s the kind of place where strangers high-five like teammates after a clutch goal.
Here’s a fun soccer fact for you: did you know that during the 1966 World Cup, the English team’s mascot was actually a bulldog named “Pickles”? The British Bulldog honors that proud tradition — though here, the only thing you’ll be finding is your new favorite beer.
If I had to sum it up, I’d say the British Bulldog is less of a bar and more of a 90-minute match — fast-paced, full of energy, and something you’ll be talking about long after the final whistle. Add Taylor’s world-class service, and you’ve got a true winner.
Score? British Bulldog 3, Every Other Pub in Town 0.
