Had a fantastic Sunday brunch with friends at Bridge & Barrel! It’s a 4.5-star experience for sure—great vibes, even better company, and the food hit the spot.
Here’s the breakdown:
* The Mimosa Flights: A total highlight! We tried the Peach, Pineapple, Cranberry, and Mango. They were super refreshing and looked beautiful on the wooden flight boards.
* The Food: The Chicken and Waffles were a unique standout—loved the addition of pineapple and sesame seeds for a little tropical twist. The French Toast was thick and fluffy, and the Breakfast Skillet (loaded with bacon, cheese, and perfectly fried eggs) was the ultimate comfort food. Even the burger and fries were solid for those in the group craving something more “lunch-y.”
* The Atmosphere: ✨ The decor is really cool and modern. We loved the “cork” wall art and the cozy teal leather sofas. It’s got a great “craft bistro” feel that’s perfect for a long, lazy Sunday hang.
Service was friendly, and the whole place has a very welcoming energy. We’ll definitely be back to try their craft beer selection next time!

I write this as my husband and I wait for the check. This place is outstanding!! Jasmine was our server and took care of our every need. She thoroughly explained the menu and specials making our decisions easy.
We had the spinach artichoke dip, Philly cheese steak, and Brie jam jalapeno burger.
That burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. No exaggerating. It was fantastic. The sweetness of the jam and caramelized onion, spiciness from the jalapeno and saltiness of the bacon made this a very interesting meal. Every bite was different and I absolutely loved it. The chef personally coming to our table to see how it turned out was the cherry on top.
We had a wonderful time and definitely will be back.
I’ll be pissed if that burger isn’t on the menu!

This was our first time to Bridge and Barrel and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmingly when entering the restaurant and given options on where we wanted to sit – bar area, patio or dining room. We choose the dining room. The decor was nice and the music was great giving it a nice vibe. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. She shared additional item not on the menu . We had a glass of wine, a burger and fries, chicken pesto Flatbread and a side Ceasars salad. Everything was delicious! The manager stopped by to make sure everything was satisfactory and thanked us for the business. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu and their brunch on the patio. Great date place but it’s as fancy or casual as you want it to be. Such a nice addition to the small businesses around Crosby. Give it a try!

We recently visited Bridge and Barrel Wine Bar & Bistro in Crosby, Texas. The atmosphere was nice, but the food left us a bit underwhelmed. The burgers were on the dry side and the nachos came with chips that didn’t taste very fresh. On the upside, the charcuterie board was decent and paired well with the drinks.
If you enjoy bar-style food with a wide variety of beer and wine, this could be a good fit. Just note that when we visited, several of the wines my wife was interested in ordering weren’t available from the menu.
Overall, Bridge and Barrel may appeal more to those looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and some simple bites rather than a dining destination.

My husband and I were shopping at the antique store next door when we saw this was open. We decided to stop by after our shopping and I am so glad we did.
We walked in with no reservation and were still promptly seated. The service was awesome! Our waitress – wish I could remember her name – was super friendly and helpful. My husband likes sour beers and she recommended one that my husband now loves! I had the mimosa flight – so delish! We had the flatbread and the burger. Both were so good! We will be back again! I came here for my first time with my husband for our anniversary. I booked a reservation on their website (which was very easy) and they had a table reserved for us. They still asked if there was a different table we’d like to sit at which we appreciated. Right away the bartender (male, dark hair) was amazing, super informative, and had high quality customer service skills. He was able to give my husband a great beer suggestion and followed up at our table to make sure he liked it.
Our server (I wish I got her name because she was amazing) congratulated us on our anniversary and took care of us the whole way through. She suggested a Rose that was just what I was looking for.
For dinner I had the Willie Nelson Burger and my husband had the Cajun Chicken. Everything was seriously delicious and I’m craving it again already! For dessert we had the Deep Fried Horchata Bites and while they look like little chicken nuggets they taste amazing! The cost was comparable to iguana joes while the atmosphere was comparable to a nice quality restaurant down town Houston. 10/10 recommend!

First time visit. Everything was exceptional. Very well designed bar and dining area. Lunch menu offered great selections. Bruschetta was outstanding. Meatballs in delicious sauce with great dipping bread. The hamburger was very good with fresh, tasty bun and crisp fries. Service was warm and professional. Will definitely be returning.

Just discovered this place. The staff is welcoming and fun. Alex was our server and she was great. Devon is a delight and full of knowledge about the restaurant and the history of the area. I had the Willie Nelson burger, and, it was, quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. My wife had the mushroom flatbread and loved it. We are so happy to have a place of this caliber in the Crosby area. This will be a regular hangout for us.
