It’s nothing special, but the food is good and the staff is friendly. I had the bleu cow sandwich and the potato salad, and both were good. I really liked how thinly sliced the beef was, and the potatoes in the potato salad were chopped much smaller than I’m used to, but I liked it.. If you get the bleu cow, I recommend requesting an extra side of the blue cheese horsey sauce. Their homemade banana pudding is not to be missed!

Solid sandwiches, fairly large draft beer list, good service, what more could you want.

I got the Chicago Fire sandwich and my partner got the Beef & cheddar melt. Both sandwiches were very flavorful and done well. Chicago Fire was actually pretty spicy and that was a pleasant surprise.

Definitely going to come back when I’m in the area.

AWESOME….cold beer, great atmosphere, outstanding service at the bar….most importantly…food was delicious. Some pics don’t accurately represent the serving size because I took the pic after I started eating/drinking.

You know, some places, you want to love them. They’ve got the bones, the history, that feeling that tells you there’s a good meal, an honest time, just waiting to be had. The Brick, in its past life, was one of those joints. It was a place you could count on for a proper sandwich, something built to last, something that told you the person in the kitchen gave a damn.
But something’s changed. The ghost of a good meal is still in the air, but what lands on the table is an exercise in disappointment. We’re talking about a Ruben and a “Blue Cow” that are, to put it plainly, a ripoff. These sandwiches, these glorious monuments to stacked meat and cheese and everything that is right with the world, arrived looking like they’d just been through a bad divorce. Barren. Sad. For fourteen dollars, you expect to get something that’s not just a gesture. You expect a sandwich, not a half-hearted suggestion of one.
This isn’t just about a meal. It’s about a pact. You pay for something, you expect a fair shake. When you’re charging a full-boat price for a half-assed product, you’re not just shorting the customer, you’re insulting them. It’s a kind of culinary arrogance, a belief that people won’t notice, won’t care.
The one flicker of grace? The banana pudding. It was the only thing that tasted like it was made with a soul. It was a brief, beautiful moment of redemption in a meal that was otherwise a flat-out disaster.
So here we are. A good memory, now soured. The Brick has become a place that sells a sandwich for five bucks and charges you fourteen for the privilege. And that, my friends, is a damn shame.

We found out that JACKT was playing at the Brick Deli and Tavern. This place is fantastic, the food was awesome and the service from Katie was the best!! The atmosphere is so very nice.
JACKT didn’t start playing until 8 pm, so we only got to hear 1 hour but it was great!! We will definitely be back!!

Great deli sandwiches. Great service. Atmosphere fine until the live music started. So LOUD it was absolutely impossible to talk to people at my table. I won’t go back when they have live music. Was HORRIBLE.

The food is out of this world and the place is so cool looking. Our waitress dis anticipate our needs and forgot a few things. But, she was trying and friendly.

A fabulous deli! I highly recommend the Downtown Hoagie. It was an amazing sandwich. Great atmosphere, a large selection of draft beers, and impeccable customer service from my server LIZ! Thanks for a great experience.

This is a very fun place. The customer service was excellent and charming. There are many types of sandwiches. There was also a soup and salad set. This is a restaurant that I would like to come back to again. I want to try something different next time. Probably many times!
