Wife & I felt like some Argentine meats & since we’ve only passed by Gaucho Grill but never been, decided why not tonight?
I’m a craft beer guy and knowing Gaucho has beers specifically brewed, was certainly a plus. 😉
We didn’t make reservations, but the wait felt it was under 10 mins which was all good.. Nice checking out the kick back atmosphere anyway (marketplace, the wood fire, TV monitors).
Annie was our waitress and was friendly, courteous & on top of everything.
For drinks, I was really eyeing their Gaucho West Coast IPA but they were out so I went with the Hazy IPA & my Wife with the blond. Did not disappoint! Nice, fresh cans in pints. Delicious, cold, hoppy & crisp beers (already wanting to go back hoping the WC & double will be available next time we go).
We decided on the half parrillada since we wanted to sample a couple of meats and went with veggies on the side. Great choice. All delicious, juicy and on point cooked to perfection (medium for us). For the two of us, the amount of meats were perfect, but ordered an extra side of rice. Didn’t finish all the meats, so extra yum yum for our to-go box! Loved the different sauces/oil for the bread we got in the beginning (and we put some in our meats & drizzling some on our rice too). Mmmm
Thanks Annie for being so attentive & nice! Keep it up Gaucho in the delicious foods & craft beers! Will be back! Great experience! Cheers!
I usually stop by to pick up fresh meats to take home and cook. I also love their chimichurri jars, desserts, and empanadas. Whenever you don’t want to sit down and eat, you can shop for everything you need to prepare a delicious meal at home.
Great services, bar, and atmosphere.
The first time we came, the food was excellent, which made the poor service easier to overlook. But on the second visit, not only was the service worse, but the food was also a letdown — dry and noticeably smaller portions. Really hoping this was just an off day, but we left feeling disappointed.
Our server Celine did an outstanding job and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I told her I’d leave a great review and I didn’t forget! This place left a lasting impression, and we’ll definitely be coming back for years to come. Highly recommend!
Food:
The complimentary bread service is a fantastic start — warm, crusty slices served with chimichurri, olive oil, and a tangy pepper relish that sets the tone for what’s coming. I went with the lunch special (a solid $35 for three courses), starting with an empanada that was flaky on the outside and packed with flavorful beef inside. For the main, I chose the skirt steak with fries. The steak was nicely charred, seasoned just right, and paired perfectly with the crispy, garlicky fries. It’s the kind of dish that makes you nod after each bite. I didn’t make it to dessert this time, but the Dulce de Leche flan on the menu looks too good to skip on my next visit.
Drinks:
The beer arrives in a frosty mug with the Gaucho logo — simple but classy. It’s the perfect complement to the smoky flavors coming off the grill.
Ambiance:
The interior is warm and inviting, with an upscale yet approachable feel. The deli counter and market section add a cool, authentic touch. Outdoor seating is a plus on a sunny day, and there’s plenty of parking (always a win).
Service:
Friendly, attentive, and on point. Our server made sure everything was timed perfectly, and the food arrived hot and fresh.
Overall:
Gaucho Grill is an excellent choice if you’re craving bold flavors, great steak, and a relaxed dining experience. The lunch special is a great deal, and the regular menu is stacked with tempting options like milanesas, pastas, and seafood.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5) – Worth a return visit for sure, especially to try more empanadas and that flan.
