I used to come here with my grandpa who retired from the Ocala sawmill in 1988. This place is frozen in time in all the best ways. They still serve an incredible massive breakfast platter as if every guest that drops in is a local lumberjack. No fuss. No fancy presentation. No trays for the bill. No lattes. No fancy tables or chairs. No avocado toast & vegan sausage. Just possibly the most hearty and satisfying breakfast you have had in a decade or two. Pancakes the way you remember them from the 90’s when Cracker Barrel used to be a viable breakfast joint, a pile of hash browns that you could share with the whole family, and waitresses that make you feel like you came home and they were waiting.
As others have pointed out, the prices are incredibly fair and I love the fact that this joint is full of very senior couples out on a Friday morning for a breakfast on the town. The whole ambiance oozes Americana. It’ll make you nostalgic for the good ole days.

Absolutely my favorite place to get breakfast in town. All the mom and pop vibes, and I seriously don’t think there is anywhere else in town you can get as much food for the price. Super duper tasty, without fail every time. The service is great, food is delivered quickly and everyone is on top of things. Highly recommend stopping in!!! Not pictured are the eggs I demolished. 10/10

Friendly greetings, when entering establishment from several different employees. Seated quickly and order taken. Ordered the Denver omelette and substituted hash brown and toast for 3 4″ pancakes. Also ordered Pork center loin with 2 eggs and hash browns. Very generous amount of food, was not able to finish it. The food was fresh, hot and very good. My omelette filling was freshly diced bell peppers, onions and ham. The filling was not pre cooked like most places. The price was good for what you received. The place was clean and quiet. Fast service. I would recommend eating at this place. I will eat here the next time in his area.

Not a fancy place, and who needs that for breakfast? I sat at the counter, so I walked right in, but a lot of people were in line for a table. Service was frightenly fast lol, staff were really nice (and really fast, like i just said). I just ordered some eggs and hash browns with a lil country gravy. Meal was amazing. TONS of really well made, nicely crisp, thick hasbrowns. Toast was really thick, like house made or specialty made. Eggs were, well, eggs.

This is definitely one of the best breakfast joints in Cd’A. This is a busy place but the service is quick! Our server Tanner was extremely attentive, friendly, and service oriented. The food is crazy good! Good filling in the omelets, good portions, and very tasty. This is a big recommend if you want a great breakfast and want to leave full.

Breakfast and lunch options available all day, closes at 2 pm. Hash browns are crispy and tasty. My favorite restaurant breakfast meal is Eggs Benedict and often I am disappointed by the Hollandaise sauce being canned, powdered or some shortcut preparation. The English muffin was toasted perfectly, eggs poached perfectly and the sauce was the real deal. 10/10. The other breakfast meal at our table was generous proportions and delicious as well. One person ordered a hamburger and fries and was very happy as well. It was busy but the wait for food was not long. Staff were efficient and kept an eye on coffee and soda refill needs. Will return when in CdA again.

This was my first time trying this place and wow I was super pleased. The service was great my sever was really great and kind and kept topping off my coffee like every 5 minutes (sorry for using all the half and half lol) which was nice and the food was excellent even having some left overs all for a great price. Will definitely be back to try more!
