Another great Main Street (College Park) eatery. My wife and I visited and she had the jerk chicken with sweet potato waffles while I had the salmon hash bowl. Both were delicious. Their salmon is very tender and full of flavor. Also ordered a passion fruit mimosa which was very good too. Only constructive critique is they need some type of insect repellent for the seats outside in the hotter months.

We got there on a Monday morning around 10a and there was a 20 min wait for a table for two because they were only seating people downstairs to avoid the heat. It was worth the wait. I ordered the chicken and pancakes and my husband got sweet potato waffles. We were also able to order coffee with OAT MILK and honey since my husband is lactose intolerant. The batter on the chicken matched the pancakes perfectly and the sweet potato waffles were delicious. The atmosphere was feminine and cute. Not what I expected based on the name of the restaurant so it was absolutely perfect. The service was great. Looking forward to going back!

We decided to give Breakfast Boys a try and were not disappointed. First and foremost the service was great. It was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and pleasant demeanor. Our server, Najeé was excellent. Our food was very good and delivered to our table in no time. I had the Fried catfish over shrimp and grits. The catfish was crispy and hot. My wife had the chicken and pancakes which consisted of wings that were well seasoned and fried crispy like she likes them. The atmosphere was nice and very chill. We ate downstairs. There was plenty of seating with NO WAIT on a Friday morning. We are adding this to our list of breakfast/brunch spots to bring our out of town guests to. I hope when this place expands they continue to have great customer service as well as good food.

We got there around 9am and there was no wait for a table for two! Our server was Kay and she was amazing! The food was fresh and cooked to perfection! The mimosa was too strong but if you like strong drinks this for you! I had catfish, shrimp and grits and it was the highlight of my day! I would definitely come again!

I had a good time overall. It was a busy Sunday, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our server, Stanzio, was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the chicken and pancakes. The pancakes were a weird texture, but all things considered, it was good. Parking in front of the restaurant is free, but in the lot to the right of the building and across the street, it’s expensive. It’s $15 for 2 hours. Oh, I can’t forget to mention my drink! I had the honeysuckle lemonade. Not only was it good, but it was STRONG.

I really enjoyed Breakfast Boys! I took my mom, she had been seeing it on Facebook and had been wanting to go. She ordered the fried catfish, grits & eggs. She really liked the crispness and season. The grits were not as seasoned but balanced out the fish. My pancakes and wings were the Bomb. The pancakes were the best I’ve had… wings were seasoned. My mom ordered a rum punch. It was delicious, and strong.

When we arrived I knew we were in for a wait because of all the buzz I’ve heard about The Breakfast Boys. We were told about an hour, so we decided to tough it out and wait. Well fast forward to an hour and we were still waiting, but people that can after us we’re all seated! My dining companion went back to the hostess who said we were removed from the list because we failed to respond. Mind you, she went up to the hostess stand a few times to check on our wait. We were promptly seated after a little back and forth.

We were greeted warmly outside by an amazing Hostess! Even I’m the waiting line the place was already a vibe. After a short wait, we were escorted inside by another greeter. Then we were taken to our seats. Although the place was busy with motion, you get that feeling of Southern charm and hospitality. Everyone from the server, to the runners and the bussers wore smiles and an aura of Welcome! Our food was Amazing! First we had the fried green tomato stack. This is a delightful switch from the normal way fried green tomatoes are normally served. The addition of salad greens and bacon remind you of a warm wedge salad. next, me and my daughter both had the catfish, shrimp and grits. My daughter is a chef, so she was pleasantly surprised by the hint of truffle oil present in the gravy. We also got the shrimp, kale quinoa wrap with Parmesan fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful and served at the perfect temperature. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick breakfast bite, or a full on brunch make The Breakfast Boys, your next culinary experience. Bon Appetit

I chose the catfish/grits and shrimp w/ lobster sauce which was the recommendation by our waitress Lala. The catfish was very tasty, especially the crunch from the corn meal. The grits didn’t taste like any grits I had ever taste, and I wasn’t really fond of the lobster sauce. The shrimp inside the grits were good though, but nothing remarkable.. My date had French toast and turkey breakfast sausage, which he said it was ok.
