Was not given last call.
I’m writing this at 10:22 and the hours listed for Tuesday’s are 11-11. When I said, “I didn’t hear last call” she refused to pour our l drinks.
After a few minutes, she weirdly walked up with our drinks and promptly cashed us out. Our bill was around $100 and we were cashed out by 10:26. Very strange.

We came in for dinner tonight, and the owner, Ron, was sitting with what I think was his family. Even in the middle of their conversation, he took the time to introduce himself, joke around, and make everyone feel welcome. I really wish more bar owners were as friendly and genuine as he is.
While we were eating, we also noticed him heading to the back to help the staff with whatever they needed — which says a lot about how much he cares about his place and his team.
Great atmosphere, great service, and a great experience overall. We will definitely be back!

This was like a trip to Cheers. Most of the people seemed to be locals. The woman running the bar and waiting tables was an absolute hoot. Food was excellent. I had a really good reuben and my wife’s burger was also good. Nothing fancy here, but if you’re not looking for a quick in and out meal that involves goat cheese you’ll enjoy it here.

I had been wanting to try this place for years and my husband suggested we go finally. We came on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty aside from a few guys at the bar. The place is dark, which is to be expected, it was also fairly loud for us being the only people there. TV’s on, radio on, background noises, it was hard to have a conversation. Our servers (we had two) were great, very nice. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as an app which normally comes with the tails off so you don’t have to get your hands all saucy. They were a good amount of spice. You get 7 shrimp. I ordered a pretzel club sandwich and my husband got wings with spicy garlic sauce. He ordered 10 (but only got 8) but after talking to a server she explained the .75 cent wing deal only applies to plain (non sauced) wings. So she did the best deal for us. He said they were spicy and he liked the size of them (nice sized). My club was just ok, the deli meat was put on the grill and tasted a little off and I don’t think there was mayo or sauce on it. Fries were diner quality and decent. Coleslaw was ok. Diet Coke is not Coca Cola brand, it is Leonard’s Syrup and I wish I knew that when I ordered because I would have just had water. All in all, probably won’t be back, as the food was just ok. But glad I tried it after all these years.

My parents would take us to the Bowery when I was 12. I can say that I have eaten there a handful of times in the last 47 years. I forgot how good their French Dip is. My wife ordered the black bean burger and was very pleased. Both meals came with a substantial amount of fries (sadly, when I asked the waitress if the ranch was thick or soupy, she replied soupy). Im glad she was honest, I didn’t waste money on half and half with ranch mix. Side note, Why do some restauranteurs insist on watering down the ranch dressing. I digress. The meat on French Dip was tender and the au jus was tasty.

I’ve been here twice and ordered the same thing. both times I got Reuben with gluten free bread and chips. I think the second time I got a better quality bread, it was very fresh. The sandwich was good overall, I liked their chips a lot, not too salty and oily.
I also liked the way that they have a barcode on the receipt that you can scan to pay through your phone wallet/Apple Pay (which a lot more fancier places still don’t offer this lol)

It was a Sunday. We were out all day on Saturday, drinking. I needed a nice dark place for brunch. I needed a pub feeling.
It was dark and cool inside. We were the only ones there so we got really great service.
Basically it’s exactly what I needed for a hangover. Great food. No loud noises. Dark enough and cool enough. Refills without even having to ask.
I had the Po-boy… It was really good.

Ok… so I was in canton for the night. Decided to leave the hotel and look for some grub. We’ll luckily we only ventured 100 yards and found this place. Saturday night is all you can eat crab night. Just incredible!!! I think between the two of us we ate 15lbs of crab. The service is incredible. Although I’ll say this. Look at the bill the gratuity is included. Our server was Christine. She was honestly one of the best servers I’ve had. I didn’t even look at the menu. When you hear all you can eat crab… you sort of bypass a menu
