We showed up about 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived early and I told the bartender I was going to be in front of a group of about 20. She gave me a “deer in the headlights” look because nobody had given her a heads up about the group coming in ( I thought our group leader had)
For about the first 5 minutes she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off and I felt bad. But literally about 7 minutes after the main group showed up she called in some staff and everything was smooth sailing from there! The drinks were cold and correct, the food was hot and delicious, no complaints,no excuses from the staff– Just great service! They just went out and did their jobs above and beyond.
Normally I would call the staff out by name but I will admit I didn’t ask their names. But I will tell you that for great service great drinks and great food, go to the Bowery…

Our favorite spot to stop on the way back home from anywhere north. It has the up-north dive bar vibe, with a great menu, daily specials, excellent pizza, friendly servers, and reasonably priced drinks. It is definitely worth the visit.

Honestly, I was skeptical, but the food was delicious!… Both burgers and BLT. Saw a pizza come out and wished we had ordered that too! Lol. Staff was great as well

Ok, I’ll be honest. I was expecting this to be something of a “dive bar.” Instead, it’s casual, a bit darker and more rustic. Nice place to watch a game, shoot pool, or chill on at a back table with friends. I ordered the Pub Burger. A half-pound, tasty patty, with good flavor. Comes with lettuce, tomato, red onion and fries. Guinness on tap, along with others. Yup, not a dive. Friendly bartender, guests & a comfortable place.
Update 12/6/23: Had a return visit. Once again, the Pub Burger was too good to pass up. This time my wife and I both had the tater Tots instead of fries. Tots rule! The burger was big, juicy, seasoned right and worth the $10.50 cost with Tots included. Check it out for some great local food.

Friendly bartender, greeted us at the door and took care of us. Shout out to the cook for a late night pizza order! This pizza was amazing! Little busy but a great vibe.

I was staying at the Staybridge suites and wanted some beer and wings during the NCAA games. I walked in sat down waited 15-20 min. The bartender a tall slender gentleman looked at me twice in the eye but never came over. The gentleman on the photo below couldn’t have been concerned with any customers because his side work was very important. I left after not being acknowledged at the 30 min. mark.
I feel like if you are not local; they do not want your business. However; when I got back to the hotel; three men staying there said how was your food at the Bowery? I was surprised they knew I was there, then they said they noticed me sitting by the door . I told them about not being acknowledged and leaving with out ordering after 30 min. Then having to go through the drive through of cousins subs as the alternative. So maybe they just don’t like acknowledging women. In any case; I have a lot of business to do up here in the next few months; I’m looking forward to visiting another establishment.
The total irony was I had 100 bill in my wallet I was planning to leave for a tip because it just seemed like the place that would appreciate it. Wow was I wrong.

We came in with a larger group that we had prearranged. The staff did an excellent job getting us seated and served. We had a few in our group that had time constraints, and they got in and out quickly. We had a mix of pizza and sandwiches. Everyone said the food was great!!! Drinks were cold and delicious. We will definitely go back!

Management was the best. They noticed they had to pick up the service recovery due a rogue employee trying to not pick up their slack. I appreciate this and I know they appreciated the feedback. Pizza and wings were great. Will be back in the future. Definitely a nice spot that is a great vibe.
