Came in on our drive through Big Bear Lakes, Vegas from LA. I think overall we were really happy with the service as they were so friendly and very patient with us. The food was good but not sure if I’d have the smoked meat sections from there. Sadly the briskets weren’t available so a lot of the food options weren’t there so we can’t tell for sure of it was worth it. P.s. HUGE drinks selection there!

The Fat Pig Burger with pulled pork was excellent! And the kids meal menu is good too. Be sure to ask for a side of BBQ sauce with the Fat Pig Burger. The service was great! We didn’t have to wait at all. But I didn’t like the new digital menu system, they say they are working on it. Hopefully a paper menu with descriptions comes soon. I will come again!

It is nice dining place next to main street of Big Bear Village. Sitting outside is a good choice although a bit chilly but nice view.

Came here on a Saturday night for a party of 10. Everyone’s food came out on time, and the customer service was excellent. Our family also had the lava cake but we ate it so fast I never got a picture. We had the lobster roll, Mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwich and fish. All were delicious. We will definitely be back!

TLDR: You are going to want to eat here!! The chocolate lava cake is THE BEST

We started with the fried pickles. They are homemade with thick dill chips and a light, crispy batter. My bf thought they were a little greasy, but I thought they were some of the best I’ve had (and I order them every time I see them on a menu). We also got the buffalo pretzel bites. I’d never seen these on a menu. They were stuffed with the perfect amount of buffalo sauce and cheese and paired perfectly with a sweet and tangy dipping sauce. It reminded us a little of the chick fil a sauce we like so much. I personally thought that they were also really fun to eat and a unique and yummy combination of flavors. I’d definitely get them again.

I ordered sides of grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes for dinner- both were excellent. 5 out of 5. My bf ordered the BY grilled cheese and said it was fantastic. It was filled with perfectly smoked meat and the best tasting bacon. He loved their BBQ sauce. He dove in so fast that I didn’t get a photo.

We ended the meal with the chocolate lava cake. It was absolutely delicious! The BEST. Homemade. Perfect chocolate cake and melty chocolate, homemade whipped cream, and a ripe juicy strawberry.

It’s clear that the chef is committed to excellence and quality. We stumbled upon this place because everywhere else was crowded and had a wait. We really lucked out. Our server said they had updated the menu recently, and I think whatever they did is working!

The staff were also very friendly and our server/bartender gave great recommendations for drinks and food. The cherry old fashioned was great, the painkiller was tasty but strong, the prickly pear cider was just the right amount of sweet and tang. I thought the prices were reasonable too. I will definitely be eating here again (we visit big bear monthly). If you haven’t been here, or if you haven’t been since they revamped the food/menu, I can’t recommend it enough.

All other restaurants had a long wait so I just came here to try it out. They sat us right away. Got a side of full onion rings and they were amazing. Nice and crispy on the outside with a side of ranch which was delicious. Got the pulled pork sandwich and it was AMAZING with fries that were really good. Burger was well crafted and they had a wide selection of beer. My experience here was great so I would disregard the review. Definitely coming back to eat here.

Stopped by here today after boarding, hoping to end the trip on a high note—but the food was a real letdown. Portions were fine, but the flavors just weren’t there. Everything tasted bland and forgettable. For the price and the setting, I expected way more. Kinda disappointing way to wrap up the trip.

My family and I stopped here for lunch while visiting big bear on a very busy Saturday. We walked in and at first I was nervous because it was almost completely empty. Within about 15 minutes of being seated the place was packed. The food was top notch. Everything from the salads to the sandwiches to the BBQ items we ordered were awesome. The fried pickles and artichoke dip were delicious. Definitely recommend this place! Only complaint I had was that they were out of about half of their beer options. Other than, the food and service were great!

Nice atmosphere, deep well, like USA, didn’t try the food but cannot wait! You have choices: Noodles (up street) or JUICY RIBS WITH BEANS & FRIES.. I’m working with just a few senses, sorry if I’m off menu… coming back hear.

Very good seating both indoors and outdoors. Also, we were seated within a few minutes upon arrival. Spacious seating seating for families. Other nice things were dog-friendly and awesome 90’s country music!

Now for the negative: this place had OK food, but not great. It was more like a diner than a grill in that the two salads we got were basically a head of iceberg lettuce. Good, but not $18’s good. The brisket was good and the mashed potatoes were delicious but the serving sizes were small.

Next, the service was OK. Our waiter sat us but we didn’t see him again for the remainder of dinner. Others would pop in or we would go to the bar for a refill. Again, OK but not amazing.

The place was hopping but it was not a grand slam. I would guess the location is the primary reason people go here. Sorry, don’t want to be negative, just hoping to be helpful here.
