If you’re looking for the best Cajun seafood boil in Alhambra, The Boiling Crab is the spot!
✅We tried the crawfish, shrimp, and corn on the cob with their signature “The Whole Sha-Bang” seasoning and it was absolutely delicious.
✅The seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor.
✅The seasoning blend had the perfect mix of garlic, butter, lemon, and Cajun spice — not too salty, just right.
✅The corn on the cob was sweet and juicy, soaking up all that amazing sauce.
✅Service was friendly, the atmosphere was casual and fun, and the food came out hot and fresh.

So yummy. We did mussels, shrimp, potatoes and corn with the medium spice level. Our server was attentive. There was no wait when we arrived and it quickly got busy. We enjoyed our time.

Casual seafood boil spot in LA. They are usually always busy and have a wait. I recommend joining their yelp waitlist if you can. I usually come here with a group and we all order for ourselves but everything is shareable. They have bibs and gloves (must ask) to help with eating. But honestly if you come eat here, you will get a bit messy. But flavor of food is good. They don’t have a designated parking lot, but there are free parking lots nearby and street parking available. My usual is 2lbs of shrimp whole shabang, medium spicy and fried catfish basket.
They play music and have TVs inside, usually playing sports games. A small waiting area inside, or just stand outside. They will text you when your table is ready.

The food was good, as usual, but the service at this location wasn’t very attentive. We had to ask for nearly everything, though it was eventually brought out. The wait time was extremely long—over two hours—even though there were many open tables.

First time at this location, and it didn’t disappoint me at all. There was a wait of 40-45 minutes for a table. Thank God there was a Starbucks on the corner because it was cold and raining, and they were crowded on this evening. Once seated, we were greeted by a nice and friendly waitress who offered beverages while we decided on what we would like to order. The food was delicious, with great music and atmosphere. They have TVs in case you want to see the game. A special sink where you can wash your hands. They can get a little messy if you get the boil. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would recommend you to try.

I can’t say enough good things about the boiling crab. Staff is always super friendly and super quick to take your order. Fries, AMAZING. The shrimp with the whole sha-bang, even better! I’ve also had their calamari which is delicious. I used to come here religiously when I lived in CA. The boiling crab was my first stop from the airport and I refuse to fly home without having it at least once as there is no boiling crab where I live. Definitely recommend!

WOW! 3 hours to wait when there’s only 15 people in line and plenty of tables open. Plus dirty tables just sitting there with urgency to ckean and flip the table. There is no point on joining a wait list when not one person on that wait list is in the building. They say first come first serve but that is far from the truth. I can’t believe that a restaurant would actually turn away business when there’s tables to be filled. It really ruined our experience and to be honest I will never come back to this place. The food is good but not good enough to starve and wait while guests can show up any time. If they miss their window and show up they’re put back on the lost before you. Does not sound like first come first serve. I still spent 100 dollars to take food home and eat it cold. I don’t live close by and this is just ridiculous. As a business owner I recommend you don’t have an online waiting list. They should show up and be put on the list and sat accordingly. You’re losing money otherwise and making guest upset creating a void with the business and the guest. Sorry but the cold food was not worthy of taking a picture.

The shrimp is not fresh at all, because it have black spots around the legs, that mean it been in the refrigerator under normal temperature for more than two days, and the shells are very soft and most of the shrimp the head came off half way, i think they need a better kitchen manager, the shrimp start to have bacteria. I would not go to this place again.

Wow… I haven’t eaten here for a long time. Foreigners taste it so salty. I drink water like crazy. It has a strong taste. Children also like it. This store has expanded and there are more and more people.
