Service was good, waitress pleasant and attentive. Sat out back overlooking the putting area. Beautiful day. Had all the makings of a great early dinner…. except food was disappointing. Should have been much better at this price point.

When we visited last Sunday, it wasn”t for golf but for a meeting with someone to talk about having our wedding reception at the Golf Club. After our meeting, we decided on having lunch at The Bog Tavern, the bartenders, waitstaff and hostess were all very welcoming, made us feel at home and that they were there to take care of us. I was surprised with the number of people at the tavern for lunch, families and couples, not what I expected at a restaurant at a Golf Club.

Always gracious ambience, always reliably good great food. Usual good service was interrupted by long-time employee’s need to schmooze with everyone. Didn’t help that a drunken table neighbor was loud and obnoxious. Will try again off-season.

Really like this place. Unassuming location with great decor and seating. On the deck in the summer is always good. Let me tell you, the food is good, but the “pork wings” blew my hair back. Seasoning and cook was 100%. Everything about this particular app was perfect. No flaws at all. Mains are all good, and service is great. Live music regularly and specials that make this place stand out. Visit!
