Absolutely delicious and they do not miss!! They really do even simple dishes in absolute perfect!! Every single dish was delicious! My fave were the peel and eat shrimp (the seasoning was AMAZING and with restraint so it does not over power the natural sweetness of the tender shrimps, honestly best peel and eat shrimp we’ve had which is a high high praise!!) and spicy mussels (the juice is to DIE for, cook to perfection, ciabatta is the perfect crispness, and great portion size too!!)!!! Riley is a superstar, they were knowledgeable of all the dishes, super helpful and friendly, enthusiastic about the food which is contagious, and even gave us extra ciabatta! 1000/10 experience and would recommend to anyone!!

Came out for dinner last night and decided to try The Boathouse over our original dinner choice. We didn’t have to wait to be seated, the staff and atmosphere were very welcoming. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer, Shrimp & Grits, and the Grilled Chicken Florentine. We had an Old Fashion and a Cranberry Pear Mule. The Mule was sooo good! I’d definitely recommend it! We didn’t particularly care for the Florentine but the Shrimp & Grits were delicious! I could have use a little grits! We came out to celebrate my fiancés birthday so we were given a birthday celebration by our waitress with a birthday toast and dessert! This definitely made the night memorable and special!

This was a great restaurant came in on a Saturday after doing some shopping. The staff was great. We sat by the bar. We had a great mocktail and started with appetizers. Enjoy the pill and eat shrimp. They were seasoned very well with obay. my husband had a house salad, followed by the grilled salmon dish in the boathouse burger all were cooked well and seasoned well in the food came out very quickly. The establishment overall is very clean very lively and the restrooms were up to par will definitely visit again as there were many items that I would love to try in the bar looked very vibrant.

Jessica was amazing. I brought my kids and cousin out for Valentines today. She made it a very pleasant experience for them. They were so excited over the food and how nice everything was. Everything tasted delicious. We will definitely be back. And hopefully Jessica will be working as we would love for her to be our waitress again. She is a great example of a great employee.
Also, it was a guy that would pop in and help. I think that was great teamwork as well, so we never felt as if we were not being attended to.

What an amazing experience to have Thanksgiving at The Boathouse. Our wait staff Callie was pure joy! She was extremely polite, with such a pleasant smile, and gave genuine attention to us, a party of six. The buffet was super delicious. I traveled from New York to visit elder family in assisted living so cooking was not an option. They were elated. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’ve been there for Mother’s Day as well. Never disappoints.

I’ve been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. I do enjoy their happy hour and appetizers, however I visited on Christmas Eve for a nice dinner and was very disappointed. Every so often, on special occasions I like to treat myself to a filet mignon. I ordered a filet, along with my guest and they tried to serve us a sirloin steak instead. I’m no meat expert, but this steak was definitely not a filet. The waitress seemed insulted when we called them out on it and that the steak was inedible due to burnt taste. Waitress was decent but definitely didn’t provide excellent customer service. Overall, not impressed with their main dishes, but again do enjoy their apps and happy hour

Almost always delicious here. Service is usually really good, a couple of not great service experiences over the years though. A snobby bartender most recently and once the slowest waiter in mankind when there were only 2 tables and she was just assigned to us. Just disappeared for 30 minutes or more with no explanation and no coverage.

My wife and I are here on Sunday for brunch with another couple. There were plenty of options on the menu. Our group had the biscuit basket, mimosa bar, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, egg white Chesapeake omelette, wedge salad, and the crab cake benedict. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was good as well. The only real complaint was that quite a few fruit flies/gnats were near our table in the corner after they opened the large bay doors. However, it was still a great experience, and we will return.

Our server, Lucy, went above and beyond. I made a reservation on OpenTable and mentioned it was my partner’s birthday. She came to the table with a birthday card signed by the staff which was a great way to start the night. Her friendly and knowledgeable service kept the good times going. The food was beautifully served and delicious. We’ll definitely be going back.
