Looks great kind of bland except the hot sauce was really hot. It was a little confusing how to make sure I got some sauce that was spicy. They told me it comes with chips and salsa when I asked for sauce and then I asked if they have sauce and how much is it and They said yeah And it comes with it. So I’m not sure what’s going on there, maybe a language barrier but I did not end up with any chips or salsa. Also, the menu in the pictures is so white and the writing is so tiny. It’s hard to read. What I really wanted, I could never seem to find a description of, only a photo.

One of the best parts of this town is this gem! The food was hands down the best I had in such a long time.
It is rare that I find a place that I consider worth the money. If I spend money on food it should always be better than I can do at home!
I’ll stop cooking at this point I’ll never be better than the chefs and service that grace our small town!

I rolled into Aurora for a meeting. It was only the second time I had visited the small but quaint town, and I didn’t know where I could find lunch. And lo – a taqueria less than a block from the historic city hall? I’M IN.
As a native Californian, I have found Mexican food in Southern Missouri to be challenging. Then add in the small town factor, and there was plenty of reason to be skeptical. But this place is shockingly legit. Pastor tacos – A+. And they had cabeza and lengua on the menu?! I literally started getting emotional. Take my money and feed me tacos!
Im now looking for a way to increase the amount of meetings I have to have in this town, just so I can score tacos that taste like home.
The restaurant isn’t fancy. The service isn’t 5 star. But both are perfect in what I want in a taqueria – I want pictures of the food on the wall behind the counter ✔️ I want Agua fresca and sopes. Yes, preposition the Valentinas and Tapatio on the table – you already know.
So, Aurora? Small town with a legit taqueria. Who knew?

Food is great and is for the most part authentic. I would like to suggest they use creama and not sour cream and use Mexican cheese. Salsa is great!!! Carnitas and asada were fantastic. Prices are amazing!

If you are not going here for Mexican food you are missing out. Great flavor and portions and the best prices in town. This meal was 8.99 and comes with chips and salsa. You can’t eat at a fast food place cheaper.

Quite literally the best Hispanic food I’ve ever had. Been all over the country and nothing even comes close. Worth every penny.

Food was fantastic the only thing that got to me was a miscommunication between me and the waitress taking the order over the phone. The issue was corrected promptly. Other than that everything was great
