A great view of the intracoastal invites you in. The decor inside is quaint and reminds me of a little bistro somewhere. The service is great. There were no complaint from my dinner party on the food. One ordered the jambalaya, two ordered the tile fish special, another the fried flounder sandwich. I ordered the shrimp and grits (photoed). I really have no complaints, it was very flavorful and could be in my top 5. It does hav e a fried egg on it, I just wish was runny and not over medium. But that’s hindsight, knowing that I’ll request it next time. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed when you choose this place.

Great restaurant. Not a large menu but adequate.
My wife and I shared the coconut shrimp appetizer which was prepared differently from what you receive at most restaurants (fresh coconut sprinkled over the shrimp). For the entrée, my wife had the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake was very meaty and larger than expected.
I had the jambalaya, and was amazed with the quantity of shrimp, sausage and okra. A massive portion that was not overly spicy nor too soupy.
Additionally, the jambalaya came with a piece of Texas toast, and a surprise, a chicken strip. Service was excellent, friendly and punctual.
Highly recommend for a casual dinner.

We were heading back from the Blue Crab Festival in Little River and took the back roads to check out all the beach towns heading North… stumbled across Boat Landing Restaurant, Sunset Beach. Had only 4 reviews with all 5 star… paused a bit. The wait staff said it had only been open for 2 weeks. It was “Twin Lakes” prior to Boat Landing… per the lovely lady next to us, also eating on the 2nd floor balcony (recommended btw – cool, best views, etc), said Twin Lakes was good but she said her ‘crab cake’ sandwich was “wonderful and very delicious”.
My husband I started with their hush puppies… sooo yummy (and why there are so few in the basket in the pic… forgot to take pics before we started chomping on them). Because we heavily sampled food at the at Blue Crab Fest we decided to split the “Bacon Blue Burger” and went for it so ordered onion rings as the side. SOOOO sinful – the blue cheese is intense and flavorful if you are blue cheese lover! Fresh Angus beef and cooked to perfection!!!! The onion rings…..yikes, what a treat! The bun.. super fresh too.
The wait staff – all amazing, friendly and attentive! Awesome location.
Quick and small recommendation to mgmt (cuz I’m a super duper clean freak and notice everything) – the rafters and posts on the balcony need to be swept and cleaned. Also, music out there would be nice. I noted out door speakers.
We will be back for sure! There’s a boat launch right by the restaurant but not sure if they have a place to dock boats if boating on the intracoastal. Bar looks inviting too! Totally recommend!

Came here our last night of vacation. Although we had to wait about 35 for a party of six (it was a Friday night), we were glad we did. Our server, Sheryl, was pleasant and efficient. However, the chef was the star!!! The food was delicious and the flavors and presentation were elevated compared to so many other restaurants!!! Loved the Berry Breeze cocktail.

My son and I were just cruising around all the way from Myrtle Beach and just decided to stop in and try it out.. Service from Amber was great. We tried the crab dip and peel and eat shrimp. Both delish. I had the chefs special scallops and my son had the catch of the day Mahi. All the food and service was great.

What a great view! Allowed us to wait in the park and Katie called our cellphone when our table was ready. Very reasonable wait on a Friday night, especially considering we left a place in Calabash because of being quoted two hours wait.
Ashley was our server – very pleasant and attentive.
I had the catch of the day, blackened grouper with the potatoes and vegetables. Presentation was acceptable, but nothing stunning, but the taste more than made up for it. My wife had grilled shrimp, potatoes and a salad. Good portions, nice deck to sit out on, doesn’t look like much, but we are very pleased with the overall experience. We certainly could have paid a LOT more and had a much worse experience. Oh, btw, if you like fresh, homemade key lime pie, theirs is great! Even if you don’t think you do, you will probably like theirs!
We are very happy we supported a Sunset Beach local business!

Very tasty food for very reasonable prices. The “Fresh Catch” Tacos had two large (almost entree size) pieces of mahi mahi and were delicious. The wine pours were very generous. We’ll definitely stop again next year.

Beautiful evening on the patio. Fresh catch is Mahi Mahi with lemon butter caper sauce, grilled cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and asparagus served over wild rice. Melts in your mouth. Roll your eyes delicious. Also, enjoyed fish and chips (subbed grilled red potatoes for chips). Thick flakey fish battered and fried to a puffy pillow of deliciousness.
