Absolutely the best burgers. They are GIANT! Fries and onion rings are crispy and tasty. Our waitress was so sweet and kind enough to stand and talk with us for a bit. Its clean, I enjoy sitting on the dock. The view is the best as well.

I don’t know what they are serving but it barely counts as human food. Based on taste of the gumbo… it’s canned dog food. Instant bubble gut. Grilled fish was so oily the U.S. tried to invade it. My salad was a lettuce leaf and 2 slices of lemon as shown in the picture. Also couldn’t say anything to our server because she came to our table 3 time in the hour and 15 minutes we were there and had no idea what was going on. Not even sure she knew she was at work. I use to love the boat but the quality has gone down.
Fried pickles were awesome. The sweet tea was great, when I could get my glass refilled.

I’ve visited this restaurant several times over the years, and the service has consistently been friendly and quick. Honestly, I keep coming back for the frog legs, they’re always worth it. The rest of the menu has been hit or miss for me, but nothing that’s kept me from returning.
As you walk in, the bar area tends to be a local hangout, which gives the place a laid-back, small-town vibe right from the start. The view from the back deck is also a nice bonus, a great way to relax and take a break from the road.

Had an amazing experience at the boat! The atmosphere was fantastic—relaxed, welcoming, and the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a great meal. The service was just as impressive. My waitress Isabelle did an amazing job even though she mentioned it was only her second day. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure I was well taken care of the duration of my time at the boat.
Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth!
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere—I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking this place out if you love seafood!

We had our daughter first birthday here and everyone was so amazing!! They made her first birthday special everyone was so sweet to her and a group of people eating inside the establishment even came outside to our party to sing her happy birthday it was so special!!! We will come here as often as possible for sure!!great staff,great food, and great drinks!!!

S.O.S. Mayday. BE ON ALERT I went to this restaurant just last night. It took a waitress 20 min to come by the table to take our drink order and another 20 minutes to get drinks. I ordered a simple unsweetened tea that tasted stale. The crawfish at the restaurant was reasonably priced. The food came out cold, they were sent back but came back barely warm the bugs were so small they were smaller than your finger nail, not prepared properly (no taste, no spice just blah.) The mudbugs contained a lot of grass as well. Like they weren’t even purged. We asked for the manager to complain and it took 20 minutes for her arrive, they were not busy. She (all of 21 and not the manager. The manager ran out the back door to his truck) gave nothing but lame excuses. I definitely would not recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Totally lame experience.
Second visit ever…last week was visit 1, it was pretty good so I took my friend who was visiting to sit on the deck.
Service was pretty bad, no greeting, had to look for an employee for a while to tell us to seat ourselves or not…all tables on deck were dirty.
Finally our server came who wasn’t very knowledgeable of the food or drinks.
I ordered shrimp cocktail and gumbo. My friend a burger with well done fries and a Paloma.
Paloma was terrible, pretty hard to mess that up.
No well done fries.
My gumbo looked like gravy with 2 shrimp plunked in it. I questioned if she brought me gumbo or etouffee and she said it was gumbo…see photos…she couldn’t even pronounce etouffe so I don’t think she knows the difference.
Had to ask for silverware, napkins and ketchup.
The ketchup was a giant bottle of cocktail sauce…not ketchup.
Totally lame experience and waste of time and money.

Great place to enjoy a nice night out by the water. The food was ok, but the drinks and the service were great. Hopefully next time, we’ll try some of their other dishes and see how that turns out.

Every trip I make to Texas requires two stops before I leave. Mama’s house and The Boat. Food has been great every time. I always get the shrimp and it never disappoints. I’ve always had excellent service, never had to wait for a table, and the view of the river can be mesmerizing.

I’m back in the area, but not yet home from my 11 day road trip. I stopped in Kerrville for some fish and gumbo. It was delicious! I ate at the bar, but they also have many tables and servers. Zoey, the bartender,and the regulars made me feel at home! I had the combo seafood platter with fried onion rings, fried fish, fried oysters and fried shrimp. It came with a side salad. I also had a bowl of gumbo, and an iced tea.
