I can’t say enough about this place! We enjoyed the board room from open to close on a Thursday evening. The food is delicious and the menu has a lot to offer. Hoagies, grilled cheeses, brunch menu, appetizers, and drinks for anyones tastes. Wine, beer, hard cider, soft drinks, shakes, ect… The prices were reasonable, the staff is very friendly and willing help anyone out who has questions, and I haven’t even mentioned the board game selection yet! They have over 700 games to choose from that you can grab and play at your table. All for just $6 as long as they are open for the day. If you have a game that you aren’t sure to buy or if you will like it you can try it out here. They also have a great big selection of games you can purchase and take home, or they can order you the game you want as well. Lastly I will say the atmosphere in this board game cafe just feels wonderful. The exposed wood beams in the ceiling the open staircase to the lower level, the many tables to choose from and even a more comfy area with couches and coffee tables. If your looking for a great place to relax with friends or family this is your spot! They even give a discount to first responders and the military. join in on their weekly events meet new friends, and support local businesses, this is one of the best! Thanks for such an enjoyable experience. I will always remember where I learned to play teraforming mars at for the first time!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. We learned two new games and played for hours! We could have easily stayed longer if they hadn’t been close to closing. We will definitely go again!

It’s a great place to spend some times with friends or a loved one. Not really a do it on your own kind of place. It’s all games so you need to join a group, or which there are lots, or come with someone. The sandwiches are good, but all the other food is meh. Your not there for the food, though. They have so many games. This is a great place when the weather turns blah.

The Boardroom is such a fun place for a group of friends to hang out and try new games. The comfy food offerings fit right in with the game theme. Kas was our server and went the extra mile when we asked for an extra plate or glass to share a dish. They came back with the food split up for us already with a nice presentation. Kas also helped us create our own ice tea when it was not an item on the menu. The environment is fun and comfortable for hours of game play. I will definitely be back with my friends!

People are super nice and welcoming. 6.00 per person per table, the loads of board game collections seem to be alphabetical. They do have some “Fun” food options, saw the pretzel & some shakes they looked magical, they also have some magical beer to choose from.. overall a cool cozy place to play new and old games.

This was so good, we’re thinking of starting our own game café as Amsterdam lacks some place as amazing as the boardroom. We got great and friendly service, loved the nostalgic snacks and above all we got great recommendations, and tips about the game we were playing. The staff had experience in almost every of the 700+ games in store. Even though we lost the game twice, thank you for a splendid evening!

Today my son and I visited The Boardroom – Board Game Cafe in Burlington (Right next to the Winooski bridge). Do yourself a favor and visit them too! Great spot to stop by with the kiddos. The owner and staff are very helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

They take all the necessary COVID precautions, masks are required. We felt safe and had a fantastic time!

Our family has visited The Boardroom several times. We have 3 children (ages 6-13) and there is entertainment for every age and level of board game player. The food is simple but suits the atmosphere and hits the spot when play8ng hours of games. We’ve had different staff each visit but have always been met with good humor and have an excellent time!
