OK so as Bostonians we are VERY particular about our seafood, and as much we love Columbus we felt like we’ve completely struck out here with the sushi scene: HOWEVER… Blue Sushi has won us over!! The atmosphere is lovely, the service was excellent with our waiter offering great recommendations, but the best part was the quality of the fish! We loved our Toro sashimi, each piece melted in your mouth like butter we started with the crispy tuna appetizer and we appreciated that it was loaded with a generous amount of tuna! The yellowtail jalapeño app had kick to it with a citrus vinaigrette that was so refreshing- we also loved the center roll and the toro tartar roll. We’ve finally found a go to sushi spot and we couldn’t be happier about it ♥️ following @dinersdriveinsanddumplings for more Columbus & beyond food content!

Excellent sushi going experience here. Ovi was an incredible server who acknowledged our wait for the drinks and apologized due to a pop in customers so we were fine with the waiting. She ensured we were taken care of and offered her recommendations on what we could order. The sushi was delicious and ultimately the date night was a big success!

Food as good. We like the specialty rolls, but sometimes I feel like different names but the same rolls just different order of layers))
Last time I ordered variety of sashimi on the rice along with fish I got tofu which I did not care for at all .

Overall, we enjoyed our visit! The appetizers were delicious, and the sushi was great. The hibachi left something to be desired. (It had a bit of an overpowering flavor.) service was maybe a little slow and our drinks came out after our appetizers (a bit odd but it’s fine)

This place is firing on all cylinders, the food is incredible – high quality, the interior is handsome and perfect for a night out. This place need to be on your regulars list of you’re in the mood for sushi or other classics like a General Tso chicken, etc. Their bar is also managed by people who truly know their stuff. They currently have a solid selection of appropriate cocktails and beers to compliment the menu including Chinese green peppercorn Pilsner on tap which is way more enjoyable to drink than it sounds- you’re not finding that and it pairs very well with their menu. Food was amazing!! I got the udon and different kinds of rolls. The surf and turf was probably my favorite. Service was friendly and helpful when ordering. A lot of different kinds of sushi rolls. Very filling! I would go again

These sushi are so good! I didn’t know about that place, so I just opened a Google Maps to find some sushi restaurant. After reading reviews, decided to go there and I don’t regret. For 6 amazing rolls and coctail we paid $100 + tips. Our waitress was so cute, rolls are delicious and atmosphere is quiet and pretty. Definitely gonna visit them again. Thank you!

They had exceptional sushi/sashimi! All the sauces are made in-house and are delicious. The sushi appetizers were creative. Very friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to give us what we wanted and it’s worth going out of your way to try. Can’t wait to be back in Columbus and come here again. Highly recommend!
