A Meat Lover’s Paradise!
If you’re looking for authentic, soul-satisfying BBQ, this is the spot. We ordered the sampler platter and it was an absolute mountain of food.
The Highlights:
• The Brisket: Perfectly smoked with a beautiful bark—melt-in-your-mouth tender.
• The Loaded Baked Potato: Massive, fluffy, and piled high with toppings.
• The Sides: The onion rings were huge and incredibly crunchy, and the fries were seasoned to perfection.
The portions are generous (definitely bring an appetite or a friend), the atmosphere is laid-back, and the service was spot on. Easily some of the best BBQ in town. Can’t wait to come back!

Good drinks and good food provided quickly. Ribs were tasty, the brisket was juicy and tender. Could use a bit more smoke. Nice blues music playing in restaurant. Live music in bar area (too loud for us).

Don’t get the prime rib…they say it’s their signature but they don’t know how to cook it. I asked for medium and they brought it out past well done. Had to saw through it. Just awful especially considering how much they charge for it.
Service is subpar as well. Took almost 30 minutes for a waiter to even speak with us.
Update: Ended up returning it after a few bites because it was not at all palatable. I asked Roberto if I could speak to a manager or the cook since his response was “What do you want me to do about it”
Needless to say no one came to speak with me. He just brought me the bill. They also won’t adjust your bill if you send food back…I ate 3 bites and was charged the full rate of almost $40.00.
Whoever cooked that prime rib needs some lessons and a thermometer. I’d be absolutely embarrassed if I cooked something like that but apparently it’s par for the course at The Blu Pig.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. The night we visited they also had the live music. We got two meat combo bbq; brisket , tri top, sausage and pork. They were all good but tri top and brisket are more on dry side and I’d probably don’t order them if I visit again. I still rate them as delicious though! Sides were all very good. Big portions and reasonable prices. Great service also.

The drinks were good, loved the white cheddar Mac n cheese, fried okra and corn bread. My brisket was really dry even with BBQ sauce. There was no fat on the brisket which I like so I asked if they could get me some and the did it helped juice up the dry pieces too. The service was amazing Susie was our server and very accommodating.

Divine. We had a local tip this was the best BBQ in town, and it did not disappoint. The epic ribs were my favorite

I’m sorry we didn’t get to see the live music, but a lunch was just what we needed. Their tangy and peppered barbecue sauces were fantastic, and the meat was done right. Only reason it was four stars was that I wanted more! One of our party had the smoked pecan pie and said it was quite an experience! Didn’t get a picture of the food because it was gone too quickly!

We had a nice dinner. The hostess was slow in getting everyone seated. Our waitress was very nice and helpful We had a portobello salad, a BBQ Cobb Salad and a two-meat combo platter. The ribs were very good.

Hush puppies were very good and fresh. The potatoes salad was great. Baked beans were the whole tables favorite, perfectly seasoned and not to sweet. The pulled pork was a must have and the baby back ribs were absolutely perfect. Literally couldn’t pick it up because the bones just fell out. We finished off with Apple cobbler and it was a perfect fit. If you come to Moab and try this place, you wasted a trip.

We stopped here when we first pulled into town after a full day of driving and sat in the bar area. There was live music which was nice to stumble on for a Monday evening. The food was fantastic. I ordered the Brisket with fries and the white cheddar Mac and cheese. Brisket was tender, thick meaty cuts full of flavor, thin cut house fries were addictive and I ate way too many of them, Mac&cheese was also delicious with chunky spiral style noodles and a wonderful creamy sauce. My Margarita was okay but a little too syrupy sweet for my taste.
My husband ordered the sausage and tri tip with cheesy potato and coleslaw sides. I did not taste anything off his plate but he cleaned every bit of food and was clearly happy with every bite.
