Celebrated my son’s 22nd birthday. It was a party of four. There was no wait time and plenty of space. Loved the atmosphere/vibes with two options of music to choose from hip hop or R& b side. They offer hookah, and a full bar. The pizza was absolutely amazing. The wings came out perfectly fried crispy. They brought out a knife in cake server to assist with the cake I brought in. Parking was difficult and you may have to walk a block or two. You can also make a reservation online. They add a twenty percent gradualty to your check so be aware. But overall, we had a good time.And I would recommend.

The best food I have had in awhile. Great environment. We went right when they opened on Valentine’s Day to get ahead of the dinner rush and it was a fantastic experience. The white crab and pesto pizza was phenomenal. The lasagna and wings were even better! I had “The Wire” pizza and it was amazing. It could easily be one of the best I’ve had in a while. Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. I’m not usually big on mixed drinks, but I tried a couple and they were actually really good, so if you’re into cocktails, you’ll probably love them. We requested the R&B side, but there was some kind of event happening the night we went, so we ended up hearing mostly hip hop while the R&B vibes were on the other side. Still, the energy was great, the vibe was on point, and I’d definitely come back again. Perfect spot for good food and a fun night out.

The atmosphere was great. I loved the different choices to sit (r&b, hip hop, or downstairs lounge), Our waitress was really nice. The food was not good to me. I had the crispy wings. It was overcooked and dry. They mentioned that the wings were tossed in the ranch sauce and I swear it was not, so I asked for the ranch sauce on the side. The sauce was the best part of my meal. My daughter ordered the pepperoni pizza and mentioned that it tasted like school pizza. It’s best to make reservations or you will be waiting a while to eat. You will need to get street parking or pay for parking in the back off of Grace Street (we paid $14.95 for 3 hours). I like the vibe of the restaurant, however the food is why I will not go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Exceptional service. The layout of the restaurant is inviting, soft R & B music playing in the background. The food was hot, delicious and visually appealing. Very friendly and attentive staff. Recommend the wings, Chicken Parmesan and SPUTTIEOTTIEDOPALISCIOUS pizza.

We went in for drinks based on their happy hour. Their sign out front and their menu advertise $2 rail drinks and $3 drafts. After ordering we were informed that this was $2 shots and that no beer there was $3. We went ahead and ordered but after 5 minutes were told that they were out of all but 2 beers. They brought over a blue moon, which we didn’t order, and left it on the table. After 10 minutes they grabbed that drink and reserved it to another customer, which is super gross. After finally getting our beers, we took a couple sips before realizing there was numerous black specks of something floating in our beer. Management refunded us and we left. I don’t recommend.

After much anticipation, I finally had the chance to dine at The Black Olives. The atmosphere and vibe was okay. I liked the art and color theme however the service was lacking and so was the food. My server was preoccupied with a non customer/”personal visitor” majority of my visit. My food was hot but that’s all I can say about it. The truffle fries were horrible. May be a little bit of sodium or a fry dip would have saved them. I heard the pizza was good but after the disappointment with the truffle fries, I wasn’t going to test my money.

I loved the layout here. There are multiple rooms, each with a different vibe. This was my first time going and I went to the hip hop room. The bartender was great and the pizza was good. I liked the combinations of toppings they offered. I would go back and try the dirty martini lounge they have and maybe appetizers instead of the pizza next go round.
