Went here when we were in the area grouse hunting in late October for dinner and to watch the Packer game. Turned out to be the Halloween pub crawl night so the atmosphere was doubled with the party feel. Burger was great. Brandy old fashioned was excellent. Bought a couple pint glasses too. We will be back!

We (accidentally) showed up 10min to kitchen close. Guys behind the bar without hesitation said “Yeah! Order up!”
Friendliest guys, with attention to checking on us regularly.
Food was great. Couple others in our group got the walleye fillet and the perch fillet. Initially worried about the listed quantity (a single fillet) and price ratio. We were not at all disappointed. Large fillets for the price.
All was great….even the jokes. Thank you guys!! Cheers!!

Food and service was pretty normal for a north woods bar. Currently no wait staff so you have to order at the bar. Not a bad thing, they were very helpful, just a heads up.

Overall a great place to grab a burger in the great north. Cheese Curds were great! Service was good, especially considering that she was the only server in the whole place. A little weird to go up to the bar to order your food though.

It was decent food, for what was available. Went there June 15th and somehow they were out of almost everything, even though with it being the busy season for the Northwoods you would assume they would have plenty (like everywhere else). Long wait also for what limited choices were available, however the staff were excellent at handling the situation and the bartender was great.

Nick is a wonderful host and the food is awesome the drinks are great and there’s always fun people to talk to while you’re in there. Ask for a hammer and a nail and test your skills at pounding the nails into the wood the tree stump.

Bartender asked what we wanted to drink and then walked away and waited on tables. Other bartender tended to the phone and paid no attention to our group of 6. Mens bathroom out of toweling and was very dirty. Extremely poor service!

I’ve had some good hand battered chicken tenders in my day, but these are by far the best! Some of the best cheese curds I’ve had too! Keep it going Nick!
