I cannot say enough good things about The Black Italian! We had a very last minute catering need and not only did they come through with the most accommodating attitude and service I’ve ever experienced, but the food was INCREDIBLE. We will definitely use them again for any catering needs we have. Everyone at our event complimented the food, even the pickiest eaters. I placed a catering order for their grilled wings, garlic Parmesan wedges along with homemade ranch, and buffalo sauce. A veggie tray with peppers, carrots, celery, and grape tomatoes was included. Everything was exceptional!! I used this for a ladies night and everyone raved about how fresh the food was and how good everything tasted. Paula was so helpful and kind throughout the process. I highly recommend!! I’ll be back!

Chef Paula and her team are so talented and offer a lovely array of pasta options for people with all kinds of dietary needs. Chef Paula and her team delivered a delicious meal to our company holiday party. Everything was hot, fresh, and well packed. I’m still thinking about how delicious the marsala mushroom dish was. I could have eaten a tray of just those mushrooms alone! I’d wholeheartedly recommend them for any catering/deliveries in the future, and can’t wait to order from them again!

I had never heard of this restaurant until a family member from out of state sent me a link as a suggestion to cater our grandson’s first birthday party. We were expecting 80 people (adults and children) – he is a miracle baby and this was a big celebration! We wanted to make sure there was enough food that both adults and children would enjoy. Paula was so patient and gracious to us as we went back and forth about what we wanted, even changing the menu at the last minute. She was also extremely helpful and gave us the perfect suggestions for a crowd our size, with something for everyone. She even made a low sodium option for my husband who is on a renal diet. We ended up with two pasta dishes and two kinds of panini sliders, with garlic bread bites and a complimentary tray of cookies. Everything was incredibly delicious, and we had tons of food! Everyone raved about it and commented it was like food at a wedding reception. The panini sliders were a huge hit! This is not your typical Italian food – it is high quality cuisine, and you can tell it is “made with love” as my husband says – and very reasonably priced especially for the quality. Lastly, Paula’s husband, Anthony, delivered the meal all the way to Bernheim Forest where we had the event. We were running behind and it was so chaotic when he got there – but he was so gracious and helpful, and even brought a birthday gift Paula had gotten for our grandson! Our entire experience with them was wonderful. They served us well, and we’ll definitely go back. They are busy, so if you don’t get a call back, be patient – it will be well worth the wait!

I’ve never been to this restaurant, but we used them for catering at my sister in law’s wedding and EVERYONE loved it! Usually pasta catering at weddings is blah and bland ,but The Black Italian was full of flavor! Besides being delicious, they were friendly, warm, on time, and so helpful. I’m definitely going to make it in person to try more of the munu.

Edit: The Leadership of the restaurant replied and explained why the storefront is there but they appeared closed. I will look for an opportunity to use them for catering at work or check out their prepackaged meals at Value Market as they explained below. Its hard to rate because when we arrived they were closed. No note. Nothing on Google, just closed and dark inside. It was a Thursday so not a typical day for a restaurant to close. I just hope they are OK.
