I had take-out and ordered the Cuban, the berry turkey sandwich and Mac and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised at the huge portions. The food quality is some of the best I have tasted at a deli. The Mac and cheese is a must when you visit. I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re hungry for breakfast or lunch, this is the best place to stop in Fruitland. They load you with food, and the food is exceptionally delicious. The only bummer is that it needs to be a bigger place! When you order food, it can get really crowded at the cashier area. Other than that, you don’t want to miss this place.

WHAT A FUN PLACE! This place was packed (standing room even though they had a abundance of seating – it was all full) with people for lunch, but you can call ahead if you need it TO-GO. The environment was energetic western. The decor isn’t in your face but fun to look at and incorporates the waiting room into a sitting/dining area if you want. The food is OMG Amazing! The protons are a BIG. You only need the Half Size orders. I honestly don’t know how they could serve so much food for so little $. The food is fresh and sits well. Not oily and just is a fun atmosphere.

Their food is delicious! I got half of a sandwich and a a side for a little over $10. The half of a sandwich was practically two regular sandwiches because how huge it was! The side I got was mac and cheese and the side portion could have been an entree on its own!

I love The Black Cow. The ladies here couldn’t be nicer, and the biscuits and gravy are BY FAR the best in the valley! Then I had the Cowboy Cuban for lunch, and not only was it huge but it tasted amazing! Highly recommend for anyone that finds themselves in Fruitland, you won’t be disappointed!! (FYI, biscuits and gravy are only Wednesday and Friday mornings and sell out quick)

Best Mac n cheese I have eaten. Ever. Give it a good stir after they deliver it, bring up all that melty creamy goodness. Then enjoy! I had a delicious half turkey with cream cheese and cranberry sandwich. Plenty of food. That sandwich, made on fresh daily bakery bread, had at least an inch worth of turkey, than all the fresh veg. It was phenomenal. My mom had the roast beef, again loaded high and every bit fresh and fantastic. We will be back. Must try breakfast next. I kind of hate to give away our secret, but arrive at off hours. We got there around 11:40am, by 12:10pm there was a line. They hussled people in very efficiently, but still if you can, arrive at off peak times would be my recommendation… Also don’t forget dessert. We split a very tasty lemon bar this visit. Can’t wait to try other desserts too.
