The Bistro & Wine Bar is open to the public seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Our menus draw inspiration from the cuisine found throughout bistros in France and are infused with local flavors of the Finger Lakes to deliver you in-season, sustainable, and locally sourced dishes. Reflective of Mirbeau’s spa atmosphere, our restaurant experience offers that same feeling of getting away to a private French estate. The dining room is classically elegant and the outdoor patio overlooking our Monet Gardens, which is heated during the colder months, is the perfect setting for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. Attire is casual and refined.

The burrata pasta dish with fresh greens tasted light in spite of being pasta.
The salmon was perfectly cooked with a thin crust of little rounds of potato which created a beautiful design and a fabulous crunch!
And the sauce had just the right amount of spice.
to pay and eventually cashing out at the bar with all the confusion. Overall we enjoyed the experience but definitely could improve on the service.
We started with the grilled oysters, which were briny, tender, and bursting with flavor. For the entrées, we opted for the scallops and the Mirbeau burger. The scallops were seared to perfection, with a delicate golden crust and a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. They were accompanied by a light, flavorful sauce that complemented the dish without overpowering the natural sweetness of the scallops. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor.
To top it all off, Chef Natalie made a visit to our table, adding a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. We were beyond impressed by the meticulous attention to detail and the perfect execution of every element of our meal.
Dining on the heated deck made the ambiance even more delightful. We visited with another couple at a nearby table that visit for several days every October from Buffalo, NY and love it. This is a must-visit for anyone seeking top-notch dining. We can’t wait to return!
While the ambiance was pleasant, the expensive menu set high expectations that the food didn’t fully meet. I ordered the salmon and this turned out disappointing, leading us to share a burger instead. At $100, the overall quality didn’t align with the price.
The experience was significant enough that we opted for breakfast elsewhere the next morning. While there’s potential, there’s room for improvement in the quality of the food. A 3/5 rating reflects a mix of positives and areas that could enhance the dining experience.
Limited outdoor seating without radiant heaters.
Could be a 5-star establishment with proper management.
