In a world of people who couldn’t care less about going the extra mile, Gerardo and Lilian stand far apart. There I was, tired from a long day of traveling and had a very specific drink request. These two did not bat an eye, but were intrigued by my request and happy to accommodate.
This alone was worth the five stars, but the story did not stop there. After picking up some food from a neighboring restaurant, I realized that the sauces were missing. Remembering my positive interaction with Gerardo and Lilian, I returned to The Bistro hoping for some sauces and another drink. Again, the two were happy to help with my sauce debacle, even going so far as to custom make a sauce they didn’t have on hand. The friendliness and willingness to help demonstrated by these two will not only make my night, but will ensure my next stay in Santa Fe is at the Courtyard Marriott. Promote ahead of peers.

The Turkey Avocado BLT sounded so good but when we opened them up we were disappointed to find that the one had the soggy/wilted salad, covered in blah oil, was thrown into the carton with the sandwich so it made the sandwich soggy. The sandwich was also a disappointment as the sauce (ranch?) on the sandwich was so strong we couldn’t finish. There was only a smear of avocado so we couldn’t even taste it and the tomato was barely there. My mother in law couldn’t finish the first half, and I took my sandwich apart and ate just the bacon and turkey. The French fries were the only edible part of mine, and those were cool, not hot. We wondered if the whole thing had been ordered from a restaurant outside of the hotel and brought in…which would have also matched the wait time. It was more like a meal that had been taken as a leftover. The price for 2 sandwiches and 2 bottled drinks came $36+…expensive for just the fries, and the smiling staff being the best part! The best spot of this experience is that the two guys that manned the Bistro were smiling, inviting, energetic and super nice! We’ve decided not to return for breakfast.

The menu is very limited. Not a full menu. The food was ok, some dishes better than others. The abocado toast is 1 star, but the bfast burrito much better, although I prefer tortillas to be warmed a bit more.

I was staying at the Courtyard in Santa Fe while on a fire assignment with the Forest Service. I would stop into the Bistro after work for a cold beer and Valerie, bartender, always greeted me with a smile and provided exceptional service.
The Courtyard is where I stay when I am on assignment in Santa Fe, employees like Valerie, with such s great attitude, are one of the reasons I keep returning to the property

Stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience with one Young woman, as she’s finishing taking my order another female who’s name tag was Valerie started yelling and cussing at the other employee who wasn’t doing anything wrong the young woman told her to stop as this wasn’t professional to do in front of guests Valerie proceeded to yell and cuss vigorously and aggressively with no consideration of guests.The young girl was appropriate and walked away as Valerie continued screaming across the room. Management definitely should discipline this woman’s behavior and unprofessionalism.

Food was truly horrible. The salad came with this dressing that was probably just really low quality oil. The wings were drenched in grease. It was by far an unpleasant dining experience.

Overall solid for a hotel cafe. Only three stars as nothing fancy about it besides convenience.
The staff is super friendly. But it typically seems under staff as the wait time can be awhile. Everything is made to order, so would recommend giving yourself at least 20 min here for takeaway items unless you do grab n go off pre-made items. But also depending on number of first could take awhile as many first get to the front of line and don’t know yet what they want.
Acai bowl heavily don’t recommend, very grainy tasting and something definitely missing

Staff is young and very unprofessional. Standing around in plain cloths. Untucked shirts and pants sagging. Not to mention every other word or two was a cuss word. The kitchen staff kelp coming out and yelling at counter staff for getting orders wrong. Trying to enjoy Breakfast with out this unprofessional appearance. Will definitely not be back to stay or eat at this location.

Usually have great service and decent food. I guess it depends on the night and who the cook and server are. Jonathan brought his personal baggage to work tonight and it showed. The new Marguerita pizza was awful too! They used canned roasted tomatoes that tasted like sardines and ran out of Basil. When I let Jonathan know how nasty it tasted, I apparently offended him. He was busy spending time with his girlfriend instead of taking care of his customers. It’s too bad that he copped such an attitude tonight. No offer of another menu item or any other customer service. Just sad because I thought better of his integrity.

The Food is good but the service was not good at all. There were only two servers on staff and they actually were the baristas for the Starbucks. It took for ever for us to get our food and there was only 5 other table according to the chef who decided to come out of the kitchen and give us this excuse as to why our food took so long.
