Called them at 8:56p before I left for a 20min car drive. Got there at 9:15p and they already closed the restaurant. Just to clean early, I saw the short lady inside sweeping and she said they’re closed. After I called?! Terrible service, not even worth trying or ever coming back. Supposedly they close at 10:00PM whenever they feel like it. Not reliable.

If I’m in CT then I always make a stop here. It’s not in the best part of town but the pepper steak is amazing.

Food is great experience inside is blah. Don’t see much of a difference between large meal and small. I got the Jerk chicken with cabbage and white rice with oxtail gravy. This was a great meal. 0 prices posted inside 0 menu posted inside. It’s a mystery to order something

Never again. I was extremely craving Curry Shrimp, found it, and was highly disappointed. I paid $15 for overcooked shrimp. The shrimp were mushy. They had the almost same texture as the carrots. I do not recommend anyone to order this dish. The customer service was good, the young lady that took my order was helpful.

Amazing Caribbean/jamaican food that I could not recommend more. All their menu items are incredibly flavorful and their meats are all so tender and juicy. Their jerk chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and oxtails are my favorite and their rice/beans and steamed cabbage go perfectly with the meats. Also really good is their cows foot, full of collagen. Their beef patties are great as well, flaky crust and spicy beef

You go here when you want authentic Jamaican food. Ill take the drive just for the taste. Affordable and you get your money’s worth. This is not a sit down to eat kind of place just grab n go.

Every time I go here I always receive a decent oxtail dinner, but the pieces were too small otherwise it’s delicious.

Open Sunday evening when so many places were closed which is good. The Curry Chicken was on the salty side and prepared cheaply. Definitely not a repeat with so many other options that is available. For the record, it wasn’t my first choice to go to and also my first time since they moved from Homestead Ave. That location back in the day Rocked!

Jahm Ske’s has the best Jamaican food in Greater Hartford hands down! Soup is always on point whether goat or fish. The curry chicken or fried chicken is my go to. Their jerk chicken actually taste like jerk chicken and not burnt chicken with sauce, like most of the places I have experienced! Right now I am going to tear up this Curried Chicken Back! Yummy
