This is truly a gourmet experience, which is so rare for this area. The food is incredible, and the atmosphere can’t be beat. Service is wonderful, too! The owner/chef came to talk to us, and he has a great vision for this restaurant. The foothills have needed an upscale restaurant for quite some time, and this definitely is it! It is well worth the drive up from Denver for a delightful evening!

I’ve been dining at The Bistro for years and it’s always a great experience! The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, and the staff is always so welcoming! The new owners are absolutely fantastic and bring a distinctive and delicious twist to the newly crafted menu! The Chicken “Lasagna” is my current favorite and it’s down right addictive! So grab some friends, make a resy, and go enjoy a beautiful meal while taking in the majestic mountain views!

Superb! We absolutely loved this place. They accept walk-ins if not fully booked. That was our case so we sat at a high table near the bar. The Bartender also was our server and she wad great! Her name is Delaney. Also, Taylor helped her. They both were extremely helpful and nice. Food was delicious!!! Cherry on top- live piano music. Highly recommended.

Okay, I stumbled across this place when the damn road was closed and it was a detour. I saved it for a future date and decided my birthday was the correct day to check it out. It was a really great little restaurant very high-end everything. And the prices were not astronomical especially for the portions you got and the quality of food.
We started with the curry mussels. He had the pork chop. I had the ahi tuna. We shared tiramisu. And then for my birthday they gave me chocolate truffles. We will definitely be back. I would say it’s on par with like The Fort but half the price.

The Bistro is a must-stop in Marshdale, CO if you want to experience the true ambience of being in the mountains. The setting is gorgeous, the style is rustic and relaxed, and the atmosphere is amazing. The food…well, I don’t think we’ve had better ! Kudos to the chef because eveything we’ve ever had there has been amazing ! We took my family from South Africa there to celebrate a birthday and they even had the piano player play Happy Birthday for my sister-in-law ! She was thrilled, and it was unobtrusive. The wait staff are extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Everything there is pure perfection ! Please go…you will not be disappointed !

What an amazing hidden gem. Food presentation was done with care and expertise. Service was wonderful, so kind and accommodating. Cocktails / Drinks were carefully crafted. Wine list had some hidden reds. Overall this whole experience was amazing and The Bistro contends with the level of service, food care, and drinks if not better than Napa Valley CA. Oh, we had the Pork chop which was cooked perfectly, wife had the duck, and the dad had steak filet mignon were all done correctly all dishes paired well with their sides. Kid menu minimal, not a problem though we have a picky toddler.

My husband and I came here for a nice dinner on our honeymoon, and we were so glad we did! Cannot wait to make this place a tradition. The food was incredible, and the whole staff was quickly informed of my allergies, and we were taken great care of. Wonderful gluten free options!

My wife and I have been here about 6 times in the past three years. Great date spot!! Amazing staff and have yet to have a dish that I don’t love! Looks like they all have been working on some updates to the building and it looks nice.
