Price was great for a party of two! We were greeted upon entering and chose to sit at the counter. The server was friendly and attentive. Food was average. Kudos to the cook for making the perfect over easy eggs!!

First time visiting The Birdseye Diner. Came with my daughter all the way from Burlington just to visit the diner. It was a really pleasant experience, with kind and attentive waitstaff and comfortable seating. I ordered French toast and bacon w/ plenty of real maple syrup (no added fee). I loooved how they prepared the French toast with cinnamon and the bacon was super crispy, just like i like it! (Although I’m sure they would make it how you wanted)
Left feeling full and had a beautiful sunny drive home! Thanks, Birdseye!!

Pretty typical New England diner. Full of what looked to be locals. Ample food amounts. Reasonable prices. Excellent menu. The whole reason to go? Dulcie, our server. Snarky, harried, attentive, confused. Right out of a diner movie. She kept us laughing the entire meal while she waited on 5 or 6 tables. I would return just to re-experience her brand of service. She’s a gem!

We traveled to VT for a wedding. We asked around for a good breakfast joint. Birdseye did not disappoint. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The food was delicious. The place was super cute. I had a Philly omelette that has cream cheese in it. Soooo good.

Traveling around Vermont on vacation, we stopped here for lunch. So glad we did.

Just an old school diner with friendly staff and classic well prepared diner food.

I had the fried clam strips with fries. Both perfectly cooked. So easy to make clam strips rubbery. These were great.

My wife had a beef barley soup which was very good as was her grilled cheese sandwich.

We even had a fruit pie a la mode just because.

Definitely would eat here again when we are in the area again.

The atmosphere is perfect. Unfortunately the food was a let down. No non dairy options for coffees creamer. It’s ok , I bring my own now. The home fries should be called fries! They are deep fried and undercooked! There was also no seasoning on the potatoes. My wife’s eggs were ordered over easy. They came with visible uncooked whites. They promptly cooked more. Only this time they were overcooked. I love a good diner! Unfortunately I didn’t feel any love in the food. My daughter had the pancakes! They were delicious with the real VT Maple syrup. I will try it again if I’m in the area!

We stopped here on our way through traveling, hoping to find a gem. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. As we waited to be seated, the cook wasn’t wearing gloves. He reached into a bucket, grabbed food, shoved it in his mouth then went back to preparing food. We almost turned and left but decided to stay. Food was not good. My hubby got guacamole BLT, the guacamole tasted funky ruining the sandwich. The fries were wilty and cold. My wings had an unusual taste and without Buffalo sauce were not good. I asked for ranch after the wings were delivered, never got any so I only ate 1 wing. Servers were kind, just seemed overwhelmed.
