Comfortable dining experience with excellent Italian dishes. This is our family’s go to spot for a great meal without getting hammered by the check. Veal, salmon and pasta dishes have never disappointed us.

I was there for a private event. Food was good. Service was a little slow. One thing that may seem minor to some people, was that they had no cranberry juice. Many people from our group wanted drinks that included cranberry juice and had to settle for alternatives but I’ve never had a bar/restaurant not have the basics for drinks. They also should have posted some notification somewhere that the place was closed – people just walked in for dinner only to be turned away. Seems they need better management.

Delicious food. I wore a skirt & my legs got bit by something. I suspect mosquitoes. Didn’t complain tho and will definitely recommend to friends. Will come back for more (food not bug bites Lol).

Visited friends while on vacation from Georgia. We were a party of 6 on a Saturday night. When we arrived, there weren’t many customers. Soon after though, the restaurant was packed.
Service:
There were only 2 servers, 1 bus girl, 1 hostess, 1 manager and 1 bartender for the entire restaurant. Clearly, understaffed.
We had to ask for silverware, to have plates cleared, and drink refills. 1 of our party members actually went to the bar to get beer refills for us.
After seating each table, the hostess made a b-line for her favorite seat at a high-top table in the bar area where she sat and texted until another party came through the door.
The servers were clearly overwhelmed. Our server was friendly and and did all she could to try to keep us happy.
The bus girl was working her tail off; bringing bread/butter and helping the overwhelmed servers.
The manager was hanging around the beverage/service area. He didn’t seem interested with helping the servers. He did visit a table next to ours to chat with them. Got the feeling he knew them.
The food:
Food was very good. This is why I am giving 2 stars vs. 1. Portions were large and the veal parm was absolutely tender and perfectly prepared. Everyone’s food at our table was great.
There was an issue with the water. We found out from locals that there had been a water main break recently and that the tap water in the area wasn’t potable. Since all of us weren’t drinking alcohol, our options were limited. They did not have any bottled or canned water or soft drinks. Only sparkling water; which we did not care for. I actually went to a nearby restaurant and bought a can of soda. (only after pleading/convincing the manager of our limited options.)
I actually manage a restaurant so I observe and probably expect more, but then again, everyone deserves great service when they visit a restaurant and spend their hard earned money.
Overall, I would recommend eating here when they’re not busy or if they get more help. It’s a shame how hard it is to find good help in restaurants these days.
