We originally came to The Bird in 2013 and it was the best burger we’d ever had. I checked the reviews before we went again and they were still good. Not true sadly. I’m sure it used to be two thin succulent burger patties but now it’s just one big one and it was so tough and dry.

I ordered mine Medium and it was still pink inside but so hard on the outside. It also didn’t really taste of much; like the meat hadn’t been seasoned. We were the first table in there so it wasn’t busy at all; only one other table.

My mum got the club sandwich which she said was okay.

I would normally complain but I was so hungry I just needed to eat something. It was really disappointing. The only saving grace were the fries! They were 10/10 and perfectly seasoned. And the service was also good. The team were very friendly. But overall a really unsatisfying visit I’m afraid.

Excellent burger spot. The patty is outstanding, thick and high-quality, almost like a steak. They ask for doneness, and it definitely leans on the rarer side, so if you prefer it more cooked, I’d recommend ordering medium. The meat quality is top-notch overall.
Fries are special as well, seemingly double-fried like in classic French restaurants, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Had their Keller beer: straightforward, clean, and easy to drink. Simple, well-executed, and very satisfying.

Probably one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. The option to swap the toast for brioche easily makes it one of the top three burger spots in Berlin. It’s probably the only place in the city that does chili cheese fries any justice. (Burgermeister had great ones too, but they discontinued them.) The cheesecake is just perfect.

A little bit of good-old-America in Berlin! The vegetarian portobello burger with blue cheese topping is delicious! Service is top-notch, just like in the States

The Bird in Berlin is hands down my favorite burger place ever! Their BBQ (any any other) burger is absolutely amazing – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The homemade fries are the perfect side, crispy and delicious. Chris, one of the waiters, is fantastic – always friendly and makes sure the service is spot on. Luckily, I live not too far from The Bird, so I get to enjoy it regularly. Highly recommend!

It’s an old school pub atmosphere, I’m not so sure one can easily tell that it’s specifically a German pub but you are likely to feel very comfortable here in any case.

The beer selection is nice and a bunch of American staples certainly fit the bill. It is, however, the burger that I loved every time when I came here. The meat is nice , perfectly juicy and beefy. The toppings are generous and mostly pleasurable. A ton of grilled onion on top certainly helps. So it’s soft yet within proper set of optimal taste and texture parameters. It also doesn’t leave you wanting another burger ever.

Would I come here again? Absolutely

The Bird Berlin lived up to the hype on the burger front. We devoured the Da Woiks and the Big Rock, and let me tell you, the flavors were on point. Juicy patties, and that English muffins bun – they simply nailed the burgers.

However, our burgers arrived a little less cooked than we requested. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely worth mentioning. Maybe next time we’ll double-check with the staff to avoid any surprises.

Speaking of staff, things seemed a bit understaffed on our visit. The waitresses were hustling all night, and while they did their best, it meant slightly longer waits and less attentive service. Just something to keep in mind if you’re expecting a super chill dining experience.

The one thing that remained consistently excellent was the cheesecake! Just like their Hamburg branch, it was divine. Rich, creamy, and with the perfect amount of sweetness. The only minor quibble? The cheese layer felt a tad thinner compared to our previous experiences. Don’t get me wrong, it was still delicious, but maybe a touch more cheesiness wouldn’t hurt.

First the great: Those wings are legit.. and the tots.. super fresh.. the extra generous portions (that chicken on the Cesar Salad, nom!) Also, Jan, what a lovely guy. (HBD Jan!). Thanks for getting my missing drink, the bill and the boxes.

The less great: that waitress.. forgot my drink, twice. Charged us for one we never got (checked the bill at home), had to ask her back, twice, as she didn’t take my husband’s drink order and then didn’t take his food order. Then she just disappeared.. Maybe she’s new but that was rough.

Patrons next to us had two big dogs whose faces kept coming back to our table over and over again. One of the dogs tried to get my attention by poking me in the butt a few times. Love dogs but not ideal at dinner.
Not the restaurant’s fault but wish we’d been seated a bit further away.

Looking forward to better luck next time tho.. the food is excellent.

I’ll be honest as a vegetarian I might not be the target audience for this place anyway. And my friends were telling me that the meat is quite good. But the food was super greasy, burgers were super minimalistic and deconstructed for some reason, meaning you actually just ate a bun with a patty inside and salad and tomato next to it. Idk I wouldn’t recommend it personally. But the staff was quite nice
