The reason I gave the food 2 stars for food, was because the flavor was amazing. I could taste the smokiness in my sandwich. However I subtracted 3 stars for these reasons. The sandwich although well crafted to taste amazing was also lacking quite a bit. For the sandwich to have the word “VIKING” in its name it sure didn’t have much meat, the contents were less than half a centimeter thick. Second was the sandwich took over 20 minutes to get to me despite the cafe not being very busy. Third, it just lacked a wow. I could see through my bacon that’s how thin the bacon was. I wasn’t terribly impressed enough to want to come back.
However if a cute little enoteca is what you’re after, this place is it. They have a vast list of beers and wine which was quite impressive and as I mentioned the charcuterie boards would be a fine choice. I will give this place a 2nd chance and try just that next time.. but for a first time experience, I suggest not ordering their sandwiches.
