What a awesome place to go! My boyfriend told me about this place and I have been always wanting to go. Every plate that passed us we saw looked so good. Then ours came and it did not disappoint! The food was good, and the service was pretty solid—especially considering it was a busy Saturday night. We’re a family of six, with three kids under the age of three, so we understand we can be a handful. That said, we were a bit surprised to see that an automatic gratuity had been added to our bill.
We respect that every establishment has its policies, and we understand the reason behind auto-gratuity. However, when a tip is added automatically, it changes how customers like me approach tipping. I typically tip 20–25%, but when it’s already calculated and added without discussion, it makes me trust the system and assume that’s what the staff is expecting.
Just some honest feedback from a customer who usually goes above the standard—automatic gratuity can unintentionally cap what you might otherwise receive

I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I do wish the server had been a bit more gracious with one of our guests, but I understand she’s young and still learning. That aside, the food was delicious, and the place had a wonderfully relaxing vibe.

I came to this restaurant about 3 years ago and absolutely loved it! I was super excited to come back and try it again because we are not in the area often. I really wanted some crawfish but of course they are out of season this time of year so I went to order some shrimp and crab…..well they do not have a mix and match your preference in smaller portions so I just ordered the lb of shrimp. I was thinking this would be served in a boil bag tossed in at least some butter because I was informed they could not mix the regular seasoning with the spicy so it would just be put on in the side. Well I received a big platter with a good amount of shrimp a small individual size cup of butter and two tiny containers of seasoning. The shrimp was super tough and the seasoning in the butter with the seasoning mixed that I mixed myself was so salty I only ate about 7-8 of my shrimp which was less than half and left then rest. I do not remember the seasonings being like that before but I will not be going back anytime soon for the boil/not really a boil… Waitress was super friendly and accommodating and the place is clean. My husband said his chicken fried steak was okay but had more breaded pieces then meat.
