I just remembered I wanted to leave a review. Great job everyone! Me and the girlfriend went to Picklesburgh on the hottest and busiest day this year (the Saturday). We attempted to stand in some of the pickle vendor lines that day but the waits were insane for $20 sandwiches. While getting some shade in PPG Plaza, we happened to turn around and there was “The Berg”. It seemed too easy to walk in and place an order. WHAT WAS THE CATCH? NONE! The two guys working the counter were placing orders quickly while simultaneously getting orders out. One of the employees even got a refill for an older woman sitting at a table who couldn’t walk well (keep in mind this isn’t a place with table servers per say) so props to him for being such a nice guy. Customer service goes far! I also loved the HUGE menu. Easy to see everything and straightforward, REASONABLE pricing. We ordered two wraps, fries, drinks and fried pickles. Here they ended up being the best damn ‘pickle thing’ we had all day! All of that for around $25. Oh, and I’m not a fan of crinkle cuts but they definitely nailed them. Everything we ate kept us so full we didn’t even have to eat over at the Pirates game later. When we are back in downtown Pittsburgh, we will definitely swing by.

They give you your moneys worth for the chicken tenders They are not skimpy like most restaurants! They are full & meaty! The Mac n cheese was also great! I don’t eat everyone’s Mac n cheese but theirs is creamy and cheesy Definitely a must try place!

Andy the guy who rang us up was so nice and offered us ways to upgrade our meals to add Mac and cheese . The chicken was so awesome spiced and the kids loved the fries one said they were over spiced. The over all was so nice it was right before closing so the water fountain ⛲ outside was so soothing to watch while eating. The kids loved it.

Really not a fan of the chicken here and though there is a lot of sauce options I didn’t really enjoy any of the 4 I had. The fries are pretty good though, maybe a tad overseasoned. The best part about this place is that it has a cool atmosphere (and good shakes) and it’s in the heart of downtown in PPG place with a nice seating area. It’s also pretty affordable, not cheap but not ridiculous, so overall meh food but the atmosphere and service are phenomenal.

Update: House chix Sammie very yummy, don’t know what’s used for house sauce but its good! Hit the spot 🙂 thank you guys!
I ordered the yummy honey hot chix pizza, tasted great! May of been a lil less on the hot but that’s ok. Pass on the soft pretzel though, it was well done and difficult to eat. Im looking forward to trying other options here. Thank you for meal time today 🙂

Tenders are mediocre. Look and taste like any fried frozen chicken you’d get at Walmart. Fries are okay. Spice is just a generic spice, nothing special. They only have 10 sauces, not the 22 pictured. Buffalo was good but nothing special. They don’t have regular BBQ, which is disappointing. At $13.99 for the 5 tender combo, I could have gone elsewhere.

I had high expectations and was thoroughly disappointed. The service was completely fine and my food was done fast, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about this place. First off, the menu is incredibly hard to read and understand due to how much small text is seemingly everywhere. On to what I got, the food LOOKED great but the taste left much to be desired. The seasoning on the fries was amazing but the fries themselves were overcooked. Another reviewer described them as some being like rocks and others being chewy like gum which I can agree with. The sandwich was okay at best, but the chicken was disappointingly dry. Not only that, but the drink I got (fanta orange) had very little flavor which I know is not normal. For the price I paid (a little over $15), it wasn’t worth it. Go to CHiKN in oakland instead.

Got a buffalo wrap and fries. Both were really really good. You can tell it was fresh. The wrap was a little hard to eat because of the size, but an employee brought me a knife and fork. Would come back again

Did I try the food here hoping this local chain coincidentally had chicken fingers and sauces like the previous chain restaurant? Yes

Was I correct? Mostly

The chicken finger breading and sauces tastes like the recipe was still left up on the wall! Exactly what I was hoping for.

The issue lies in them trying to make something good, better. The best part of a chicken finger is being able to dip it into the sauce. They must have looked at the complaints from the previous restaurant and said, let’s make our chicken fingers bigger! What they give you is a hammered full chicken breast. You can’t dip it, hell you can’t even bite it without having to use a knife and fork, it’s a cutlet. Please cut these “jumbo chicken fingers” length wise and save everyone’s time.

Secondly, I like a flavorful spice in my breading and they had a spicy version of these cutlets! Oh boy was I sorry, there was a full 1/8″ coating of Cajun seasoning or something equivalent. Its like I put my tongue in tub of black pepper for 15 minutes. I can’t taste anything. Put in a 10th of the seasoning and leave the rest to a spicy sauce. I had to throw this whole piece out of I wanted a chance of tasting my dinner.

Positives – You get a lot of food for a good price. Chicken breading is perfect and the sauces taste good.

Negatives – These are cutlets not fingers. Not convenient for a fast lunch. The spicy fingers aren’t really hot, they just fry out your taste buds.

We as a family watch Guy Fieri all the time and get huge inspiration from his shows for cooking. We made sure this was a definite spot to stop while we were here from NY for lunch and it DID NOT disappoint. This was hands down the BEST fast food/chicken sandwhich we have ever had. Could 100% use moreeeeee sauce on the burger, but it’s in a good location with paid parking right across the street. It’s a clean and friendly atmosphere. The food is what we’re raving about and it’s worth it especially if you’re a Guy fan.
