15/10.
My husband and I have been coming to the lower keys for years. We’ve eaten at most of the major and best recommended restaurants. This is hands down the best meal we’ve have. He had the blackened swordfish pasta special. I had the coconut crusted catch of the day (red grouper) and both were extraordinary. We got the tempura green beans and tuna tataki appetizers and they were the perfect size and exceptionally done.
Desserts for us were the cheesecake which they gave you the choice of guava glazed, fresh strawberries, or Oreo crumble. We had the guava and I could have died and gone to cheesecake heaven. We also had the chocolate torte. Rich was an understatement. This thing was a dense and delish slice of chocolate goodness.
The atmosphere is chill, if slightly upscale. On the water but off the main road so it was intimate and low key. We went on a Monday so I would guess it’s a little busier on the weekends.
If you’re nearby you have to go and if you’re further away it’s absolutely worth the trip.
Shout out to our awesome server Stryder. He was an attentive gentleman with great knowledge of the menu and any questions we asked.
Side note, the martinis come with the shaker they’re made in which is at least 1 extra full drink.

My favorite restaurant!!!! Fantastic food and service. The grouper with the pineapple/mango salsa was so delicious! It was fun meeting the owner she made us feel so welcomed. See you next year if not sooner.

We had such an amazing experience at Bent Prop! The menu was incredible — so many options that all sounded delicious. I ended up trying the skirt steak risotto, which was on special for the week, and it was absolutely fantastic. My husband got the Cuban sandwich, and both dishes were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Honestly, I can imagine being happy with anything on the menu!
Our server, Martika, was AMAZING. She was so friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. My husband has a yellow dye allergy, and she immediately knew that the pickles didn’t contain any — such impressive attention to detail and care!
The restaurant is a bit on the pricier side, but 100% worth it for the quality, service, and overall experience. The only downside was that there wasn’t a changing table in the men’s restroom, which would’ve been helpful — but other than that, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious! I had the catch of the day, coconut encrusted grouper. my husband got the Shrimp vodka fettuccine and our son got the fish and chips. We were seated promptly. Our server wasn’t the best. We had to flag her down to order drinks and was curt when we asked for drinks. She never came back to ask for refills. She did ask how our meal was. The atmosphere was great.

Wow! Great food and service! The red grouper catch of the day was amazing – blackened or coconut fried. Such a wonderful location.

We had the best experience yet at the Bent Prop. From Lexi at the hostess stand, Strider our server was outstanding, the young man who filled water and cleared tables was helpful and nice and the young man with the unbelievable ginger beard who delivered our cranberry white cosmo, mojito and old fashioned was great! We had the seafood pasta, which was unbelievable the fried calamari was unique and very good, the beet salad was great, the ribeye was perfectly done a d flavorful. Even the cheeseburger was perfect! Then for dessert we had the Keylime bread pudding and the flourless chocolate torte. Everything we had was spot on flavorful, delicious and fresh. Service was superb and we were there on NYE at 8:30pm. We were so pleased with everything. Definitely we will be back.

This place was amazing. The environment was friendly and beautiful. The chef’s food was perfect, from the presentation to the taste of the food, there were no complaints. Additionally, the service from the people there was exceptional, especially from a guy named Johnny. I’ll definitely be going back

Been coming to the keys for a few years and somehow just found out about this place. The BEST restaurant in and around sugarloaf and cudjoe key. Great outdoor bar and dining patio. Amazing drinks and the food is nothing but fantastic. 10/10 one of my new favorite restaurants!

I really want to just keep this great new place to myself, but that would not be fair! First, it was just done right from the outside to the inside and out onto the canal front deck! It’s beautiful, warm and inviting but with a Keys theme!! We were welcomed at the door and told to sit wherever we liked. Once we were seated The server then came directly to our table and took our drink order and told us the specials and asked if we had any questions. She was very friendly, welcoming and informative and most of all attentive. We are from Maryland and had heard the owners were to and were featuring a couple Maryland favorites like Cream of Crab soup. My husband got the soup and we all tasted it and it was amazing. We went for Sunday Brunch and everything was so good! I had the shrimp & grits, my husband had the hot honey chicken sandwich , our friends had the Cuban French toast and a Cuban Sandwich. Portions were just right and flavors were scrumptious! The French fries were really good too! The owners walk around and talk to the tables asking how everything was! Very friendly and informative about their restaurant and their plans! They also have a happy hour with a nice menu so we are looking forward to going back for happy hour and dinner!
