Booked this restaurant based on my last experience here which was lovely, the chicken was so tender and soft, however after this experience might not come again, chicken was overcooked and chewy. Not tender and soft. Also wish they served the dishes in stainless steel/traditional dishes not bowls. Kind of makes it feel like you’ve plopped it in a bowl at home and not at a restaurant

Visited yesterday and enjoyed our food. Very tasty and the chicken cooked perfectly. Nice looking restaurant and pretty good prices. The service was ok but they didn’t have the drinks we wanted, they asked for our order twice and they brought out a sweet sauce when I asked for a spicy one and didn’t swap it.

I contacted The Bengal Inidan Restaurant with query about a Christmas work buffet. The were very responsive, polite and answered queries regarding dietary requirements. We discussed various options and decided on a starter buffet. On collection day they were very helpful directing us to their car park and loading items into our car. The food came in lovely large sturdy foil containers and we actually received a few more items than ordered. The buffet was a resounding success, very postive comments on the items, the onion bhaji’s were delicious and a favourite. With past sandwich buffets there was always sandwiches left but this year everything was cleared up. We would definitely recommend The Bengal and hope to use them again in the future. Thank you

Absolutely the best curry in Lichfield! We ordered the lamb bhuna and dupiaza, and the meat was so tender it just fell apart. The sauces were seasoned to perfection, and the garlic and cheese naan was wonderfully soft and buttery. The only small downside was that the rice was slightly firm, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience of the takeaway. We’ll definitely be dining in next time!

Amazing food! Amazing service! Couldn’t recommend it anymore! The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Had the chef special lamb dish (which was recommended by server) a chicken korma both fantastic. Have been now twice in 5 days WHOOPS! Can’t wait to return again soon.
