Great bagel and breakfast stop in East Sanibel! The bagels were fresh, and the spreads were delicious and tasted homemade. It’s also a deli, so they offer other lunch options like sandwiches and pizza. They even have a small grocery section, which is convenient.
They do serve coffee, but it’s more of a standard self-serve brew rather than craft lattes. Overall, I’m really glad we stopped here for bagels, definitely a solid breakfast spot!

I recently visited the bel bagels & deli and was absolutely blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The selection of meats and cheeses is top-notch, boars head and everything is incredibly fresh. I tried the everything bagel sausage egg and cheese and it was a flavor explosion! The balance of ingredients was perfect, and you could tell they use high-quality products.

A great addition to the island! A friendly and clean establishment with lots of great menu choices and island staples like chips, beer and wine etc. Their hot Italian sub is spectacular and the bread is proper (which I can’t say for many sub shops). Give them a try!

Overall this place was slow to take and make orders. The worker made the most inefficient moves to make sandwiches. The bread was NOT fresh (on a Monday at noon). The meats were very good Boars Head brand, but the bread really drives the sandwich for me and my family. The price was WAY too high for what we got (3 sandwiches for $50!). Wanted to give 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4. I will say that the place was clean and well-maintained. Convenient location being one min from Sanibel Lighthouse Beach. Next time we will find a Subway on the way to the beach. The bread is better!

Tried out Sanibel’s newest deli and it did not disappoint! Conveniently located on the East end of the island near Lighthouse Beach! The Bel offers bagels and breakfast sandwiches, subs made with Boars Head meats and cheeses, flatbreads and other hot specialties! I tried the Italian sub, it was delicious! Tons of meat and toppings, the sandwich was definitely big enough to share! They also have snacks, candy, wine, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages! If you are heading to the beach and need a quick lunch to take with you or a nice spot to people watch, stop by The Bel!

The bagel sandwiches here taste amazingly delicious! I ordered a pastrami bagel sandwich, and it tasted incredible and was very filling! It was also open on Thanksgiving Day, and they told me they plan to be open on Christmas Day, so being open on holidays is a plus! Definitely plan to visit here if you are hungry for breakfast or lunch in Sanibel! 🙂
