This was my first time going there and I heard stories about these delicious yeast rolls from people and i have to say they were excellent ok…service was excellent..Chandler our server took care of us and if you are wondering they have ice tea yes but only unsweetened… yucky …the food was excellent..definitely coming back soon

Wow! The food is amazing! We enjoyed the roast beef, liver & onions, chicken and noodles, ribs, french dip and taco salad. Each person was satisfied with their meal. For dessert we tried the mounds pie, pecan pie, apple cobbler and peach pie! All were very good. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures this time but we were visiting cousins whom we hadn’t seen for years so I was preoccupied. I can’t say enough about our server, she was kind, attentive, quick and caring.

I stopped at this place because I was tired of “road food”. This place was top shelf. Old-school steakhouse with all the trimmings. Staff was first rate, food was as good as anything I’ve ate at in Omaha, the foodie city of the midwest. The price was great. I made the right choice and you will too if you hit this joint.

Ribeye steak is my weakness so when I see a billboard for the best in Indiana I had to stop. The waitstaff are outstanding!! The cheeseburger soup was very good! The strawberry jam and apple butter were delicious! Unfortunately the steak was underwhelming. It was prepared just as I asked but is was a poor price of meat that was tough and flavorless. I never use steak sauce but I did here. It was overpriced for what I got.

Traveling through to Iowa, found on Google maps checked it out. Was a great place to eat. Food had great taste. Cooked wonderfully and service was great after being sat at table and drink order taken. Original waitress never came back but next one picked us up after she seen us sitting waiting. Would we go back again? YES wished they were local. Would recommend. All types of customers from the rich and famous to the not so rich or famous. Wonderful atmosphere!! Thank you!!

We went here for Father’s Day. Got seated right away. Our server was very attentive. You get so much food when you order the dinner that we boxed up over half of the entrées when they came! Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful scenic place to have a meal. Our party had the Philly steak sandwich, taco salad, beef liver, bbq ribs, chicken and noodles, All were satisfied with their meal. The lunch menu was one meat, salad, & 2 sides, & a drink add a piece of pie and it was barely over 20. For all. Some even had leftovers to take home. The rolls might have been the star of the meal! It’s a definite must try!

The food was very tasty to say the least. The broccoli cheddar soup was a little runny for me but it still tasted decent. They make their own ranch and the salad is fresh so it was great the croutons weren’t to hard so they made the salad crunch perfectly. The baked potato was magnificent the sour cream in it was heavenly I loved it. I ordered a jack daniel NY strip steak medium rare, it was cooked exactly how I like it, crisp on the outside with rich taste in every bite. I definitely recommend this place for special occasions. But only for special occasions because the price is not cheap at all so if you come in hungry be ready to pay for that fill up lol.
