This is 5 star fine dining. Our two 16oz Ribeyes were cooked to perfection. Nice size salad, soup, and I got French fries, thin and crisp the way I like them. Our two meals were $130.00 with tip and dessert. Thank you to Melissa for such great service. ❤️ this was the best stake I’ve had in a restaurant in many years. And the rolls were so delicious.

Very surprised. Found this place randomly on Apple Maps. The food was outstanding! We tried blackened salmon, ribeye, Alfredo seafood pasta, and bacon wrapped filet mignon, broccoli cheddar soup. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the portions are large. Service was excellent. When we are back in the area no doubt where we are going. Short distance off I-74

Amazing rolls! Let’s start there, the dinner rolls are outstanding! So are the apple butter and strawberry jam, no joke that alone is worth the visit. Our server was amazing as well bringing out our food quickly and she was attentive with refills. I ordered a ribeye medium and it came out cooked perfectly. My only knock was the steak was a bit under seasoned for my tastes, but not so much that it was inedible. The prices are what you would expect from a higher end steak place.

Great homemade food, especially delicious rolls (which you can take home.fresh or frozen!!). At the table the other dishes were grilled chicken with rice and veggies, pork tenderloin sandwich with coleslaw, pork chops with mashed potatoes, and small piece of steak with mashed potatoes. All dishes but the sandwich came with soup and salad, and as many rolls as you can eat! Some salad dressings were also homemade! You will NOT leave hungry.

I’ve been by this place numerous times, just passing through. This is the 1st time I’ve ever had the opportunity to take 10 hrs off, and grab a bite to eat. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! And those yeast rolls are a little bit of heaven right here on earth! Truck drivers, go own over there and get yourself a good, no, GREAT STEAK DINNER!

It’s a good place but feels dated as a steakhouse, our server was probably having a bad day but could’ve been better. They aee known for their donner rolls and homeade strawberry jam and apple butter spread both were excellent.The appetizers were the superstars I recommend the onion ring,breaded mushroom and zucchini appetizer. The vegetable soup tasted like it was plopped out of a can. The side garden salad was ok didn’t try the Ceasar. Main course was the petite bacon wrapped filet and the t-bone. They were good but could have been better uneven cook on the filet the bacon was crispy and then almost raw on some places forgivable given a thin cut trying to stay on Med Rare. The Tbone was also cooked unevenly and bit too gristly for the price. Overall it was good but lacked seasoning but for the price points needs to tighten up a bit.

The Beef House food and service was amazing. I got the bacon wrapped fillet with homemade mash potatos and gravy. The bread is worth coming out of state for. Served with butter and strawberry Jam. JJ our server was outstanding , Evan helped me to check out for some merch , great family owned restaruant. Definitely will be back if I’m in the area. Yum!

This is one of my favorite places. I wish I lived closer. I’m two hours away, worth the drive I try to get there at least every other month.
The food is always excellent, great choices, and they make their own rolls, and strawberry jam, and apple butter too. Fantastic together best rolls anywhere.

I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since Zach Edey mentioned it in an interview back when he still play for Purdue. We were heading out of town and made the stop. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was excellent. I got the fried chicken, which was so good! Both kids enjoyed their chicken fingers. We got three baskets of rolls and dips. Our server wasn’t the friendliest, but he did a fine job. We will definitely recommend this place and try to stop anytime we’re in the area!!
