Decent, seasoned, and home cooked fell. Short ribs were really good and hearty. Chicken was well seasoned. Mac and cheese was good also. Cornbread was a little hard but I mixed it with the greens to soften it. If you are hungry, you will definitely be satisfied eating here.

Neighborhood church-run eatery. Soul food at it’s best. Absolutely percent worth the drive out to S.W. Atlanta (they also have an in town location). Line service like a Picadilly. Muslim healthy fare like veggie plate is so filling. Have had that before.. Nonetheless less this time we just had to get the fried catfish. The portions are sizeable and the line servers are so nice and friendly. It’s like your Grandma fixin’ your plate at the stove. They do have a small outdoor patio too.

We tried the Beautiful Restaurant yesterday and absolutely loved it. Just an absolutely delicious home-cooked meal, pure comfort food, good for the soul. The ribs were falling off the bone, so flavorful. The dressing, the mac and cheese, the collards. All absolutely unreal! Everybody was so friendly—the diners, the team, the manager. There was such a sense of community. We will definitely be back.

Quick in and out, friendly servers with a Southern Grandma vibe. To be honest, the food didn’t look very appetizing in terms of colour so I went with the BBQ Beef Ribs and they were beyond amazing. Falling off the bone, so tender I thought it would melt in my mouth, great flavour. Makes me open to the other menu options the next time I’m in ATL. Could do without the sides however, but those ribs… chef’s kiss.

They charge too much for such small portions. Mac and cheese is watery and flavorless.. also baked spaghetti serving is so small. I will not be coming back. Should just go to big daddy’s cafe down the block. Way better value there.

I have been stopping by The Beautiful Restaurant on every Atlanta visit since 1989. It never disappoints. I moved from the ATL in 1989, but I’m back to visit every year or so and this is my go-to spot for excellent down home comfort food. I ALWAYS know it will be here and that it will please my tummy. Many other great eaterys have come and gone, or become hit-or-miss, not this place, it is ALWAYS great food. No matter my ever changing eating trend (no meat, only meat, only fish, only veggies…) The Beautiful Restaurant is able to meet my needs with delicious options. Friendly service and tasty food = I’ll continue to eat here on every visit back to Atlanta.

If your looking for “seasoned soul food” this IS NOT the place to dine. Not only is the food bland & corn bread dry but the price is outrageous. If you want a real soul food place to eat try RC Kitchen, I should’ve stuck to what worked but someone recommended this place ♂️
