This is my 5th time coming here and I absolutely love this place
The Tavern is located in a Historic Inn
And it’s been beautifully restored
And the food here is amazing
And the most importantly is all hand made nothing is frozen
I took my mom here to eat tonight and we shared a appetizer the Bacon Blue Cheese Dip served with House Made Chips
The flavor was just amazing
I highly recommend it
And we both got the bacon cheeseburger
And again you can tell it was made with care And it wasn’t rushed
Everything was full of flavor
I wish I could give the place 10 stars

We thoroughly enjoyed my day at the Heritage Days, taking in the sights and sounds. We made a brief stop for lunch, and the experience was exceptional.

I have had dinner twice now in the tavern and both times the food was exceptional.

When I share my experience with others, the response is fairly universal, “Oh that place is too expensive.”

In reality, while the food at Red Dog is good, it is NOT on par with McKinney’s, and my bills there are usually as much or greater than here.
