I’ve enjoyed dining there, it’s very casual . A farmer straight off the tractor may be having lunch. Or a family straight from church could be having a meal. There are pizza nights, and the selection is great, the Taco pizza is really tasty. Chicken fried steak, juicy burgers, Patty melts, etc. An expansive menu for such a small cafe. The bar is separate but you can hear the crowd having fun. Pool, shuffle board are always busy. Great local hangout. Bartenders have been exceptionally fast and friendly. Waitress was kind , efficient and service was fast.

I was very happy with the bear cave. Every time anyone walked in they were greeted with a smile and hello. They have the best prices of food in the area as well as beverages. The atmosphere at the bear cave is always positive and has a lot of the home town feel. Everyone that works at the bear cave makes you feel like your back at home, remembering your name, asking how things are going and they keep a great conversation on whatever topic you want to talk about. The bear cave is a bar as well as a café, and I will say they have the best burger and homemade fries I’ve ever had! During hunting season, this is a great a destination for hunters in the area because it is a great way to talk about the days hunt as well as converse with other hunters around the pool table, shuffle board or the bar. My overall experience at the bear cave was great and I have nothing but great things to say about the bear cave as well as the people that live in the Culbertson area.
