These tacos are the best tacos ever. You know when your mouth waters yeppp this is the place to go. I see the same lady everytime she’s so sweet. Always gets my order right. I order ahead and I come for my lunch break. 5 tacos are usually $15-16. Be prepared for the yummy flavor. You’ll be wanting more. The pictures speak for themselves selves

Hello hello this is El Nene coming to you with a review of Fonzi’s Tacos here in Modesto California located in the Modesto grubhub area. I had order 4 tacos 2 asada and 2 lengua. As you guy’s know me I’m a taco lover but these tacos didn’t make the cut. It was missing the flavor the rich taste of TACOS. It needed more salt an better taste over all I paid 18 dollars a some change for 4 tacos an a large tamarindo agua Fresca. Presentation of the plate was good but not great. Over all the tamarindo was good. Gracias have a great day!

I was surprised at just how good my order of loaded fries were. Everything was on point. The sauce, cheese and even the tripas. They got that good tripa flavor going on. My wife absolutely loved her keto shrimp taco. This place is officially one of our go to’s now.

Service was fine but the food was pretty bad. Asada was bland and tasted off. Carnitas were bland and dry and tasted nothing like carnitas. Al pastor wasn’t bad but pretty average at best. The salsa on the tacos was underwhelming at best and kinda like pace and I wasn’t offered a different option for any of the tacos. The food was pretty cold in general but the tortillas were really good and held up really well, the texture on them was great and probably some of the best taco tortillas I have had. Also ordered regular nachos and the nacho cheese was cold even though I ate them right after I got them, which is a shame because the flavor of the cheese sauce was really good.

They’re rude and Slow. Not only does the food suck and is way too pricey but just the other day I had a truck from this company almost make me crash they tailed me that badly. Honestly don’t give this place your time if you love good food and actual honest people.

Not my first time to this area but my first to Fonzi’s.
Went with the keto chicken tacos and the Al Pastor tacos.
Both were really good. By far the busiest truck at Grub Hub.
I would definitely go back. I’d like to try a burrito next time. If you are in downtown Modesto give it a try. Parking inside by the trucks is nice with bathrooms onsite.

I very rarely give one star but 12 dollars for three small taco’s and a drink brings up 1 star. If I didn’t get the super taco’s with sour cream and cheese it would have been bland. The texture of the al pastor reminded me of pork sausage that had been sitting on a counter overnight. I would say try El Mexicano right next to them 1 dollar taco’s or 1.50 with homemade tortillas. Fonzis truck looks cool but the food was sub par.

Well worth the drive. Food is phenomenal. Not your kinda food there are other food trucks but I doubt that you’ll be disappointed. Must try Alpastor as far as meats.

While Visiting Modesto on business I stumbled upon this parking lot full of food trucks. I was looking for tacos and ended up here at Fonzi’s tacos. I ordered 4 Quesabirra tacos with the consommé. The tacos were really good and the consommé went great with the tacos too!
