Didn’t have any food but the coffee was quite delicious. The atmosphere with its metal ceiling tiles, artfully exposed brick and dark hardwood accents is very retro chic while still managing light and relaxed.

I absolutely love this place! The coffee is always top-notch—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, whether you’re meeting a friend or just need a quiet corner to relax. They have outdoor seating as well. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. It’s located right in the heart of downtown canon. There’s plenty of space to park in front. And is wheelchair accessible. It’s my go-to spot in Cañon City, and I left with a smile (and maybe a pastry or two). Highly recommend!

On vacation in Colorado and stopped by for a coffee. My family had been here a couple years ago and liked their drinks.
I inquired about how much espresso they use in their drinks, trying to get a gauge for how much syrup I should ask for. Most places put way too much syrup in their drinks. Either they are appeasing to the sweet tooths or covering up their bitter espresso (IE Starbucks.) As a note, there wasn’t a line and she seemed off-putted that I was inquiring about how my drink is made. My daughter is a barista in a local shop (in Iowa) and we make our own drinks at home using the same product. We know coffee. I am not a fan of buying a drink on vacation only for it to suck and I have to toss it.
So, the drinks are a double shot in 12 and 16, 4 shots in the 20 ounces. I normally ask for 2 syrup pumps in a double shot 16. My husband and I are sharing a 20 so I ask for 3 pumps of caramel after confirming that she uses 1/2 cup of espresso (2-double shots as I thought it was a lot but everywhere makes their own mix.)
We take our drink to go and my husband says it’s super sweet. I asked him how it can be if it’s 1/2 cup of espresso and 3 pumps of caramel syrup. He said she put a caramel drizzle on the inside of the cup that I did not personally ask for but when she marked it as a caramel latte with 3 pumps that prompted them to do the drizzle. Ugh.
If I ask for a “20 ounce iced latte with 3 pumps of caramel” I do not want the drizzle. Please ask your customers and don’t just make it “caramel latte” and do the drizzle.
The drinks have potential to be a 5 star so I left it as that. The saving grace here is that the espresso is not bitter so it’s good coffee. The service needs a notch up.

I have been here twice now. Good food. Baked goods are great. Really enjoyed the pumpkin chocolate muffin.
For coffee I had the Americana.
Very good.
The Bean Peddlers coffee is roasted up in salida.
For me the atmosphere is just what I look for in a coffee shop. Laid back and inviting.
A a bonus it has a small bike shop attached you can walk through to.
Would I recommend?
With out a doubt.
Enjoy your experience.

Man oh man! I tried the bacon burrito yesterday and the chicken nachos today. Daughter had the sesame salad. All were outstanding! Filling, delicious! The nachos are drenched in bbq sauce and spicy ranch. Satisfied? Oh yeah!

This was one of the most beautiful experiences a friend and I had on our trip to Canon City. The coffee shop was beautiful. The bike shop was state of the art. What a great concept. The young woman who waited on us was so polite and made the best coffee drinks I’ve ever tasted. Coffee was perfectly roasted and combined with honey and hazelnut. The lemon loaf was delicious. Definitely something not to miss in Canon on Main Street. It’s a great historical district with a modern mix. We should have had time to explore more. It had great outdoor seating probably should’ve checked out the back area as well. Definitely will come here again if I’m ever in Canon city. Highly recommend!!!!
